Wonderful
Spotless environment including the guest rooms and public areas. The owner is very nice and provides shuttle service to the entry of Xitou natural park. Hot water and drinking water is abundant, the water tastes really good as it is from the nearby mountain springs. The view over the terrace is more than amazing, better than what you can enjoy in the natural park if you only go hiking in the mountains in which you cannot see the whole landscape.
Sometimes some locals will burn the paper offerings at the temple opposite the street so you might want to close the windows. This has nothing to do with the guest house itself but with the local religion/custom.

In my 8 years of travelling to Taiwan, this by far has had to have been the best accommodations we have ever stayed at. Upon arrival, we were greeted at our car and immediately felt welcomed. After checking in, we were invited to have tea with the host that evening. We booked 3 king rooms and everyone was pleased with the cleanliness, the comfort of the beds and in-room amenities. We stayed for 2 nights and both mornings breakfast was exceptional and the host interacted with us making us feel as if we were at home. They recommended places to eat and sites to see during our stay and we were far from disappointed.We highly recommend that anyone that is planing to visit Xitou Taiwan to stay at this B&B, for both its accommodations and its proximity to the National Parks and other sites nearby.
There wasn't anything about our stay we didn't like.

Room furniture is made by a very rare unique wood Japanese called Nobuki （檜木) . Enter the room can smell the wood fragrance . The owner is nice, helpful and kind. Breakfasts is nice and healthy. Location is good too environment have fresh air .

Rooms were very clean and a decent size. Breakfast was fresh and very filling. The owners were very helpful and hospitable.
The bed was a little hard, however this is because as an American I am used to softer mattresses. The mattress is a perfect hardness for the typical Taiwanese person.
