The lady who was managing the hotel was very kind. When we went out, she offered advice on where to get a discount for renting bikes, and when we left on our final day, she helped us figure out our next move and getting back.
The room itself was also spacious and modern-feeling, with AC, a nice bathroom and darkening curtains.
The included traditional breakfast was also a lovely bonus, with slightly different things offered on different days.
Right near the lake and on the road next to the night market, this place is a little gem!

This was one of our favorite stays in Taiwan! The owners were kind and friendly (Google translate was helpful), the rooms were clean and well equipped. That hearty breakfast was also memorable and one of the best ones I’ve had! I still think about it! bonus: a block away from the lake! Would love to stay here again!

This was a great stay with a really nice family. We were a small group so they gave us an extra set of keys. The room was clean and decent size. The breakfast was also nice and filling. The location was perfect in the center of the village.
The beds are a little hard but that's normal for these parts.

The place is extremely clean which made our stay very comfortable. Good bath and good sleep. We, a group of 8 appreciated the host, Mr Xie for bringing us to watch fire flies. The breakfast was prepared fresh and hot. Location is within short walking distance to shops and places of interest. We encountered some mechanical issues with our rental vehicle and Mrs Xie was very kind to search for help and made arrangements with petrol kiosk staff to assist us when we arrived there. Thank you.

Everything. You stay with a Taiwanese family that will take care of every detail while giving you all the privacy you need. They invited me the most delicious oolong bubble tea from my whole trip. If I was there while they were eating the’d always ask if I wanted to join. Again, with elegance and without being pushy. The lend me an umbrella, etc, etc. They don’t speak good English but who cares! We communicated well anyway.
The place is extremely clean and comfortable, and the location perfect. I rented an electric bike and went to all the temples. That was magic too. Breakfasts are huge, healthy and home-made.

Hosts were really kind, really nice. They make local breakfast in the morning. Rooms are big and comfortable.
There were kids staying in the house and they made a lot of noise. I e also had the room above the kitchen, so early in the morning we had a lot of noise again.
