Excellent hotel near Sun Moon Lake. Very friendly staff and cute cats! Perfectly clean rooms and common areas. Highly recommended. Location is good for access to Sun Moon Lake via a short walk. Would stay again.
Breakfast was the only thing that could be improved. It’s a set breakfast but perhaps choice would be better. Eg it would be nice to be able to choose more fresh fruit rather than having to have the cooked breakfast.

The Doris Home is a special place. The staff and surroundings make you feel like you are at home. It is uniquely beautiful, relaxing and very convenient to all the sites in SML. The staff is exceptionally helpful in every way. And the breakfast thoughtful and delicious. Having beautiful cats around is fun

Phenomenal value! Convenient location (close to the bus station and ferries), very welcoming and accommodating staff, and also therr is a lot of cute friendly kitties in the lobby!
The room itself was great as well, big comfortable bed and a clean spacious bathtub.

The space including the bathroom was exceptionally clean. The room was spacious. There were many small pawesome decor at every corner, adding a touch of warmth. The services, such as the use of elevator during quiet hours, were thoughtful. The staffs also did a great job at ensuring the comfort of the feline hosts and the hooman guests.

Friendly and helpful staff, very clean, spacious room and gorgeous cats. Handy location near bus stop and easy access to all sights. We had to leave early and were kindly given a pack lunch to take.
As everything shuts so early in the area it would have been useful if they sold snacks or had some beers available in the evening.
