We were originally looking for a place to stay in Chishang, but everything there was fully booked because of a big local event. Luckily, we found this Airbnb nearby — and it turned out to be way beyond our expectations!
The area sits along the beautiful Taitung Longitudinal Valley. While Chishang is the most famous town, Gaoliao offers the same stunning scenery but with fewer crowds. Route 193, which connects these small towns, is one of the most beautiful drives in Taiwan.
This Airbnb is truly a hidden gem — clean, cozy, and full of a warm, family vibe. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. We had such a lovely stay. Highly recommend, and thank you again!

My wife and I spent a night here on our Taiwan bike tour, and it was our favourite B&B by far! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were warm, dry, comfortable and fed after being in the rain all day. We were grateful for the delicious food, and the opportunity to rinse off our bikes. I wish we could have spent more time here!

The hosts were so friendly and kind we couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming stay. We felt truly spoilt and would love to go back. The breakfast provided every morning was delicious. The whole hotel was super clean and so comfortable. We think it’s one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. We were very sad to leave. The hotel is in a lovely area. There’s a nice steak restaurant nearby for dinner.

The hosts are super kind and very accommodating to our needs. My partner is gluten intolerant and the hosts took great care to prepare gluten free breakfasts and additional food to go on our last day.
Location is very quiet and the air was fresh. We slept with the windows open and we could hear the sounds of birds chirping.
The whole house was super clean and smelled of lavender. It is clearly a well loved and cared for house that shows the hosts attention to detail.
Their dog is friendly and sweet.
We extended our stay and I highly recommend this place.
You need your own transport to get around as the house is not in the center. But its quiet.

Very Good
Very clean, quaint property with very friendly hosts. Even with Covid restrictions they made us feel welcomed. Many places to eat etc are quite far and most were closed (probably due to Covid in previous weeks). Overall a lovely place for a good night’s rest. Enjoyable sandwich boxed breakfast, comfy bed, and a garden with many sounds of nature.
