The host, Chungho, who spoke English, went out of his way to be extremely helpful. There was a brunch discount for guests at the associated cafe across the road. I am travelling by bicycle around Taiwan and basically staying somewhere different every night - this is the first review that I have written, because I felt it was essential that I acknowledged the wonderful service provided.
I'm not sure what it was, possibly the cleaning products used, but the room had a faintly unpleasant smell.

The property is off the main road on a quiet side street. The owner was very friendly and helpful, we felt welcome and comfortable straight away. The room was nice enough but our favourite part about the property was the rooftop communal area. There is a big shared kitchen space with everything needed to cook and a terrace overlooking the ocean. It was beautiful and a lovely place to hang out and make dinner.
The room was a little musty and damp smelling.

Extremely helpful and smiling housekeeper; nothing was too much trouble for her - we communicated via Google translate to much hilarity - and she even did our laundry for us while we were out for the day. Her boss was away but we chatted on phone and he was very accommodating.
Beautiful sunsets from roof terrace (though it got very noisy in the wind).
Roof terrace useful for making good coffee.
Room was small and dark with only one tiny window (and that was in the bathroom).
Double bed up against wall on one side so not easy to climb in.
Noisy in the wind, but we don't blame them for the weather!

Location is perfect next to the park. Cozy house with nice roof terrace. Friendly staff.

The owner is very friendly, helpful and makes an awesome breakfast! The room was excellent for the price , very clean ! The view from the breakfast / common area is definitely one of the best for sunset viewing! This property sits right next to the lighthouse and is the closest to the southern most point in Taiwan. There is also a nice beach about a 3 minute drive away.

A beautiful B&B in a wonderful location. The owner was very friendly and knows a lot about local history. The room was wonderful and the breakfast was excellent! Would definitely stay again when I'm next in the area.
