We are extremely glad we stayed at the Kenting Youth Activity Center. We booked three rooms and every room looked and felt brand-new. The area was very quiet. It was a short walk to the waterfront and there were trails for exploring. The "complex" is like an historic village. It was very interesting. We only ate breakfast there and the breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of options. The hotel location is only a short walk to the downtown main street and the night market. If we return to Kenting, we would stay there again.
From the outside it looks very run down, definitely needs a new coat of paint. The name of the facility is a little deceiving and I avoided even "clicking on" and reading about the property with the assumption it was some kind of youth camp, but there were only other travelers there. The hotel needs a better name.

Good location, 10-min walking to the main street; private parking space; good Taiwanese breakfast.
Old-fashioned courtyard house, and the room is simple but better than expected.
The shared "living room" with dining table and chairs between rooms is good.

The room, location ( outside is the Main Street night market ) , the facility ( washing machine and drinking machine, vending machine) , the breakfast were all great.
We definitely will come back again when we visit Kenting.

Came during summer. The air condition is not effective. The room is hot most of time. Found dead cockroach outside the doorway.

A youth hostel with such a great location, friendly staff, good buffet and interesting architecture, rare to find. We loved to stay here for a weekend, will be back ;)

not a modern style but unique and clean. crisp sheet, comfortable bed, it met the standard requirements for a traveler. location is also good. quite close to the night market. you can park your car there and walk 5min to night market. besides, hotel has its own small private beach where you can enjoy your sunset moment. air con also works well.
