I've had a great time over there. Great location in the middle of Kenting, close to the large beach, bus stops and night market. People working there are friendly and helpful, easy to reach via social media or whatsapp with any questions. Extra bonus for the cat :)
The ceilings in the showers are wooden, and getting a bit mouldy.

Everything was great, one of the best bed I had on Tawan.
More toilet would be better, since it's also a shower you may have to wait a bit before being able to go to the toilet.

Close to all facilities in kenting like night market, bus stops, beaches, scooter rental. Staff is super friendly, and helped me with what to do in kenting, and also had many tips for other parts of taiwan
At least via booking, I thought I would pay by credit card but had to use cash eventually. It seems that via other platforms you can pay via credit card.

Lovely and helpful staff, room was large and curtains were a nice addition. Communal area had a fridge and hot/cold water machine. Super close to the non-swim area of the beach but very beautiful to walk around. Very central - right next to Kenting police station bus stop.
Personal preference but the shower inside the dorm was a little noisy, also made the room feel slightly humid. There were great showers provided in the corridor but people still used the dorm showers at 6am, I think I toilet in the room would be sufficient and leave the showering for out of the dorm- this would also help with the dampness :)))))

The location was excellent. There was enough parking space for scooters. The hang out area was nice.
Loads of things were there that need improvement. We had a booking in the top floor. It was a temporary room with very few amenities. It was a big space partitioned by a half wall, but with one air conditioner that was obviously not enough to cool two rooms. The lights were not functioning well, no WiFi connection was accessible from the top floor.
Another big problem was the lack of toilet. There was a couple of shower rooms on the second floor but there was only one common toilet in the entire hostel and that was located at the ground floor. Accessing it was really difficult, especially at night in the middle of the sleep since a lot of walking and crossing floors was required. There was enough space on the terrace to get another toilet constructed.
No kitchen and washing facilities.

The hostel was uniquely decorated with a lot of common places to relax, free coffee and tea and super nice staff. Highly recommend!
