We arrived in a 9-passenger van and learned the hotel parking had a height limit. Staff guided us to an adjacent partner lot, stating the hotel tax ID would discount $200.
The total was $500. We needed to expense the remaining $300 to our company, but the lot's system couldn't split the receipt, issuing a single $500 invoice instead. After checking out, the hotel contacted us to return the $200 refund or mail the invoice back, explaining it was the lot's system issue, not the hotel's.
While I agree that neither the hotel nor we were at fault, the handling process could be improved:
Better Partner Coordination: Since the hotel offers partial discounts, it should coordinate with partner lots regarding invoice flexibility (e.g., splitting amounts) for business travelers.
Proactive Notices: If certain lots cannot split invoices, staff should warn guests beforehand so they can choose alternative parking.

A very comfortable room with excellent food services included. Location was also very convenient. Not too far from the City Main station and close to the 2 main metro lines station as well.

They truly lived up to their brand name—the staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating. Since I booked two rooms for our stay and a different room for the second night (as there would be four of us by then), the hotel proactively upgraded our double room on the first night to a quadruple room. This thoughtful gesture saved us the hassle of moving rooms.
We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dinner buffet, as our booking only included free breakfast. The room was clean and spacious, comfortably fitting four people.
We had a wonderful time spending New Year’s here and would happily recommend this hotel.
A small suggestion for improvement would be slightly better lighting near the room entrance, where the vanity and full-length mirror are located, as it would make getting ready a bit more comfortable.

Pleasant
Short walk to Kaohsiung Station. Free flow of snacks 3-10pm, great buffet breakfast spread and there was even supper, which was great for weary travelers. Ample washing machines and dryers for all to use.
Hotel was generally clean.
Room was very small - we had to open our luggage under the writing desk. The bed was squeaky if you sat at the edge of it. Soundproofing was very bad - the hotel had acceded to our request for a quiet room, but unfortunately the room next to ours was very lively at midnight and we could hear their conversations.
There was no power outlet in the bathroom, so we had to sleep with wet hair during our stay (we traveled with a kid who would sleep before us). The ventilator was not strong enough, so our bathroom and towels were always damp.
Would probably have been a great stay, but due to our probably-unique situation we never got a good night's rest at this hotel.

Friendly staff, good location, great breakfast and dinner.
A/C in room didn't seem to change temp when I lowered it.
Very low pressure in the shower, might be due to room on the 16th floor.
Elevators are pretty slow, takes a while to go up and down if you're on the higher floors.

Great location, and free bikes to borrow if you want to bike around without a uBike. Definitely the best way to see a lot of Kaohsiung! Large buffet with various options and the coffee and tea are great.
Rooms are a little on the less inviting side, but have decent overall amenities. For the value, it's hard to complain overall quite nice.

(1) Buffet breakfast, buffet dinner, and 24-hour coffee and dessert bar are included in the room rate!
(2) The Hotel has a well-equipped self-service laundromat that is available to its guests 24 hours, for free.
(3) Breakfast buffet is both generous and extensive.
The Hotel could do with a make-over of its room furnishings and should install brighter room lighting.

Location. It is about 7 minutes walk from Kaohsiung Station and about same distance from Formosa Boulevard Station. Liouhe Night Market is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. A few Youbike stations nearby.

Food was very nice and vegetarian friendly. The late night meal and breakfast did not overlap and there was a lot to choose from. Plus the 24hr ice cream bar!
Bed sheets were clean.
