What did I NOT like about this place. It is a great place and is right across the road to the beach. There is a beautiful view, a great breakfast, staff is so kind, the place is clean and so cute, plus you can walk to the lighthouse and places. The market is right next to it. It would also be easy to ride the ferry which I would do next time. Visiting CIJIN Sunset bar right across the street is great too. You MUST Stay here!

The hotel is situated beautifully on the beach which makes for beautiful sunsets and amazing walks along the beach. The street market is minutes away from the hotel with another local market literally underneath the hotel. The breakfast included vegetables and vegetarian dishes which we found is not at all obvious in Taiwan. The ferry to everywhere else is also walking distance and very convenient. Across the street from the hotel on the beach itself we found that the restaurant serves good varied dishes in a prime location
The hotel lobby is on the third floor accessible from the street level through one elevator in the corner of the building. If you don’t know this ahead of time it can be disconcerting. Another concern is that the hotel rooms are arranged in one really long hallway. Two elevators serve guests going down to the floor with rooms and if you receive a room that’s on the other end of the building you will walk and walk and walk.

It is in chijin so we get to stay a night there without worrying taking ferry back for the hotel
Additional sheet as the warmer one in the closet is dirty. Blood stains. I booked for sea view. But I got a room on 2F. We can barely see the sea. The hallway on 2F is spooky. A closet with mirrors in the hallway, and the lights are dimming. The slippers in the room are apparently used. No prepayment does not mean free cancellation.

A welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Nice room with great views to the sea. Friendly, helpful staff. Hearty breakfast. Laundry facilities. Some of the furnishings were a little worn, but overall an excellent stay.

The breakfast spread was good. The room was comfortable and clean. We liked how the shower and toilet was separate. There was a designated area to put our luggage since check-in time was much later in the day.
The hot water in our room was intermittent. We needed to wait ~10 minutes for the water to heat up and it cooled down quickly too. The check-in time was 4:00pm on the weekend and check-out was 11:00am, I wish they were more flexible with these times.

The hotel is in fact on 2nd floor of the local market where the main products ate dry fish/sea food thus the odor is quite present even in room !!!
