Great location for not only train but buses as well. The proximity to a great night market can't be beat. The hotel itself is historic and feels cozy.
Mattresses are too soft for my liking. Also make sure your keep your food stored and closed to avoid ants. But these are "me" problems.

The hotel is well located. The meteo and everything is close by. We enjoyed the communal kitchen a lot and appreciated the possibility to do laundry. The bed was comfortable and the café downstairs is really good.
You can hear the busy street and the hotel room was a bit worn.

Room 403:
Good sound insulation. Great shower with good water pressure. Nice design. Quiet. Clean. Peaceful vibes. Great location next to the subway station and the night market. Good bright lighting. Good and silent AC.
Room 403: Very small room. Uncomfortable spring mattress.

Clean rooms and convenient location near Formosa Boulevard Station. Very quiet and kitchen was convenient for accessing drinking water.
A bit cramped and check-in time is quite rigid (cannot accommodate a late check-in)

Hands down the best hostel I stayed at in Taiwan. Clean, comfortable, and—most importantly—quiet. Everyone was respectful, the facilities were always clean and the amenities were abundant, and the staff was kind and thorough. The bed was comfortable, the room a good temperature, and the location great (within walking distance to a night market and about 5 minutes walk to the MRT). 10/10 would recommend

Great location near Formosa metro station.friendly staff who went out of their way to help us with our laundry. Rooms are comfortable and they provide drinking water, tea and snacks.
The only thing we didn’t like was the outside noise since our window on the second floor faces a major street. This is obviously outside of the staffs control. But price you may for the location.

Location is perfect (3 mins walk to red line). The place is so clean, beds are very comfortable and chilling area is so lovely. The staff is so sweet. I told Jane at checkin I was going to Hualien and she typed 3 pages of recommendations and printed them for me without me even asking. The kindest. Not sure why this place isn’t rated 10/10.

The hotel is located near the Formosa Bd metro station.
Very friendly staff.
Common areas are great to unwind, cook, dine, or work.
Beautiful design.
No breakfast and all restaurants around the hotel do not open until late morning.
It would be better if the hotel provided a breakfast option.

Communal kitchen and seating area is homey
The photo of the twin room is completely misleading. The staff was aware as initially I thought it was a mistake as I didn’t recognise the room from the picture as it was so small . She knew exactly what I was talking about and scrolled through to the last of approximately 10 photos that is not taken with the fish eye to show the real size . The room is so small, and the beds so close together that I was due to be sharing with a colleague and she had to move to another hotel.

We were supposed to stay 2 nights but because of the typhoon that closed the country for over 2 days, we had to change our plan and only arrive late and left early the next day. What a shame as this accommodation was incredibly cute. Staff were lovely, room was really comfortable. We really wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautifully renovated house, cosy common areas to hang out, rooms that offer everything you need and a helpful team. I could leave my luggage before checkin and after checkout, there’s a luggage elevator. The handcrafted map with loads of tips provided is priceless. And the location is convenient, close to the subway station that connects you to the regular and express train station. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.
