Staff are friendly and helpful, very approachable if there’s anything you need help with. Good location near night market, also has breakfast place opposite hotel. Walking distance to train station.
Some rooms has steps once you open the door and outside toilet.

• Location was great; ~5 min walk Liouhe night market and Farmosa Boulevard station with convenience store located just downstairs
• Common spaces were also cozy with snacks, toiletries and water dispensers
• Room was spacious but cozy and clean with all the facilities one could need; requested for a room with a swing and it added an element of fun during my stay
• 24/7 reception and both the lady and gentleman I encountered were friendly and very helpful; gave a clear rundown of all the facilities
• Laundry services were offered (a big big plus for me!!)
Definitely looking forward to staying here again in the future on visits to Kaohsiung!

Very friendly owners, our laundry was done for free, there are also free snacks.
The location is very central to explore the city, also walking distance to the central station and both metro lines.

The location and owners were the best part of this stay! The owner took the time to explain all the amenities Gwawa offers. She made sure you understood all that was available. The location is hard to beat being so close to Formosa and a night market.

Quaint place with lots of space in room to spread stuff out, desk chair hanging space etc. Location perfect next to fermosa intersection. Quiet at night, 7 11 downstairs and good food all around.
Fridge in room, bathroom small but adequate, window for natural light and air. Mr Chen speaks English and kindly lent me a power plug adaptor. Good value for money

Great attention to detail, toothbrush holder, remote holder, etc. so room feels homely. Very clean. Hot water, cold water (so no plastic bottles) and free snacks and tea bags all in common area. Host speaks good English. Free laundry service. Short walk to Formosa station (red and orange MRT).
I like to tune in to English TV like Taiwan Plus or CNN but I could not find any. The TV does have Netflix, You Tube etc. but no TV news channels.

Firstly, the location. Only 2 minute walk from MRT Formosa Boulevard Exit 10. I arrived early and the owner secured my suitcase and advised me to come back at 4pm.
I had no problems with my room. Everything worked fine.
The owner provides a free laundry service which was appreciated.
There is a 7-11 right next door and a ATM between.
One problem I had was I booked my room via Booking.com which clearly states that the room has a balcony. The owner told me there is only one room with a balcony. So I had booked a room expecting a balcony only to find out no balcony. I was deceived by Booking.com. I note that Booking.com continues to market rooms with a balcony which is misleading. Take note Booking.com.
