Very Good
The homestay was clean and quiet. The room was very spacious and included all needed amenities. The staff was kind and communicative.

The homestay is close to TRA but a bit away from downtown, but I'm okay with that. The boss man is super friendly and even with the language barrier because I only speak English he still tries to share information with you. Definitely one of the friendliest people I've meet. Really enjoyed the stay. Super soft beds too.

The lady who runs it is amazing. She has the interests of her guests at heart and goes above and beyond in making your stay as pleasant as possible. We were greeted with coffee/snacks, then given fruit and before we left a Louisa’s coffee. How generous is that?! to The language barrier was not an issue as she is an expert using Google translate!
It is on a corner so there can be some nighttime noise from vehicles. Could be an issue for some. We were fine.

The host was extremely helpful and considerate. This facility is really clean and our room is spacious. The host gave us endless bottled water and even after we checked out, he managed to put a bag of bottled water into our car.
II wish they have a couple of luggage stand so that we can keep our suitcases open and don’t have to leave them on the floor.

Clean and comfortable accomodation just 5 minutes walk from train station. The owner was very nice and friendly, gave me some good advice for my stay in Hualien. The room was very spacious with a nice bathroom and balcony. I highly recommend staying here.

The host was very friendly and gave us sightseeing tips. Great location, and all that was needed was in the room.
There’s no elevator but the host helped us carrying the luggage upstairs. The water boiler made weird noises

Location is close to the train station. The hosts were very friendly, they helped us with our luggage and took us to the night market.
Somehow there were mosquitoes in the room.

I've stayed in 9 places so far in Taiwan & this one has the best bed. The rest have been acceptably hard or worse. This one had some softness about it.
Super noisy during the day with lots of motor scooters buzzing around. Thankfully this improved a lot the later the night went so overnight was generally ok

The host is such an incredibly nice person. Je helpt us with planning, we were able to check in earlier for free and when my partner had to stay in bed due to illness, he made it the most comfortable possible by giving food and drinks. The room was very spacious and clean. The location is just 5 min from the train station, so easy to access the taroko national park.

Best hosts you could dream of ! They were very warm and cheerful, giving you plenty of advice to discover the city and its surroundings. The bikes they provide are very convenient to explore the city. The homestay is 5-minute walk from the train/bus station which makes it a very good location for backpackers.
