The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are so comfortable and the view from the balcony is mind blowing. The hiking trail around the hotel is lovely too, but the temple at the top is superb!
The hotel offer the best breakfast and diner menu I had on the island.

Location, good food but only at buffet.
No a la carte food options, only buffet except when ordering room service. Lack of other typical services such as a bar or any place to hang out after dinner and order something.

Fantastic trip to the Gorge starting with the hotel bus that picks you up from the Hualien train station. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The buffet breakfast and dinner had a huge variety of excellent food. The outdoor pools and hot tubs were fun with amazing views and the bedrock bathing was a first for us. We even tried two classes, making body lotion and coffee scrub soap. We loved everything about our trip to Taroko Gorge. It was the highlight our three week trip to Taiwan.

Everything! Meals were amazing, lots of activities for kids and families, facility was spotless and everyone was super friendly and helpful.
It was expensive. Our splurge for the trip, but memorable and worth it. Still very limited hiking in the area, but perfect 1-3 km hikes for kids.

Everything here was amazing, staff, view, facilities and food. We really enjoyed the stay. I only wish the park was open fully again. Getting in and out isn’t easy and not many trail accessible
The park had a lot of restrictions still due to the earthquake but the hotel is amazing. Be aware of the macaques they are very fast with snatching things

Right in the middle of the gorge, the hotel offers a very convenient location to see the beautiful geography of Taroko Gorge. The pool and spa are directed towards the face of the granite and is beautiful, with the fires lit at night. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting. The staff is very service focused and we felt very welcome there. They went above and beyond to help us with our needs. Loved the yoga class in the morning. The spa was wonderful—the soaking bath and the professional masseuses made for a relaxing evening after a long drive.
It seems a little overpriced. We were disappointed there was only one dining option. The buffet food was tasty and there was a wide variety but nothing spectacular.

The location & setting of this property are amazing. The rooftop pool and amenities are awesome.
The breakfast and dinner buffet are wonderful.
Some of the spaces in the hotel are dated. The restaurant other than the buffet is average.
The staff wants to upsell you on room type upon arrival - it’s a little expensive.

The pool was nice and large and there were several other hot tubs of different temperatures. The location was just perfect, our room was facing the gorge, hearing the sound of fast moving water.

The only place within the gorge,wonderful property
Not in the hands of the property,but the ongoing construction due to earthquake and typhoon make it a bit less fun to explore the area due to frequent road blockage

Location was beautiful except it was in the middle of all the control points (due to maintenance from the earthquake). which made getting in and out very stressful. The hotels pool was the highlight.
Hotel location is too far from the main attractions of taroko park. All the park attractions were at least 90 min drive away and required a lot planning to make sure you make it on time for the control points - if you missed it, you would have to sit in the car and wait for an hour to get through. If you miss the last opening of the control point at 4pm then not sure what happens. This hotel is good if you don’t plan to leave the hotel.
Also… a lot of kids in the hotel. So great if you’re a family with kids but maybe not so much for a quiet romantic couple getaway

Simply amazing hotel. You feel relaxed from the moment you step inside . Very beautiful and well maintained facilities. All of the members of the staff are super nice and helpful. Yoga classes were great. The meals in the hotel's restaurant prepared to a very high standard. The room is big and comfortable. Great for kids with lots of play areas. We had a wonderful experience, highly recommend.

Beautiful location , despite the Closure of many sites due to previous earthquake. Staff were so helpful and accommodating. Facilities for both adults and kids were beyond expected—so much for the kids in the play area. Food was excellent
