Great customer service, comfortable bed, great value for price, cats, close to train/bus station
Bathroom shower was broken, so it was a little hard to take a shower. A/C didn’t cool the right side of the room, so it was a little warm.

A nice place in a family's guesthouse. Clean, quiet, with a nice size fridge in the room. Good AC and warm water. They have three cute kitties and one snuck into my room for a few minutes which was fun.

Beauty Homestay was so cute and pretty. Our room was gorgeous, with cute Moroccan style tiles and decorations and a lovely sea green paint on 1 wall. The huge balcony is good for doing the waltz on. It is a short walk from the train station and eateries. They have 3 little cats that all have interesting personalities and you can tell the owners give them lots of love. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful.
Everything was to our liking, we are so thankful for our stay here whilst we saw Taroko Gorge

Wonderful
Very cheap and good quality. The owner was really friendly as well, and there were three cute cats in the hostel.
Recommend for ppl who has pets!
There were quite a few mosquitoes in one of our rooms, so we had a really bad sleeping. But the other one didn’t have the problem.

It’s not far from the bus and train station.
The owner is very friendly and helpful. We were able to check-in earlier as the room was ready.
There are 3 cars and 2 hamsters :)

1. The location was good, close to city center.

Exceptional
Lovely, clean, comfortable room with glass doors leading out onto a large roof terrace. Kettle and fridge were provided in the room and a water filter was on the first floor. Host was very friendly and gave us tea and loads of fresh fruit. The property has lots of stairs with no elevator (as is standard for many Taiwanese homestays), we were on the 4th floor which was no problem for us and our small bags, but it is worth noting for those with large bags and/or mobility issues. The location was a convenient 10 minute walk from the train station in a nice quiet area. I would very happily stay again.

Wonderful
The property is near train station, about 5-8mins walking. My room has a very large balcony, which is literally the same size as the room. It is tidy and neat. It would be better to enjoy some sunshine in the summer. They have two cats downstairs so if you're animals lovers, you would probably like this point. The price is really reasonable
The mattress causes me serious back pain as it was too soft and the pillow is really sloppy. During the stays here I couldn't sleep much because of the uncomfortable bed. Well but it kept me waking up strangely early to finish all my sightseeing in the cities. If you are foreigner and can't speak English without a Taiwanese phone number, contacting the owner would be hard as my text to her on Booking was never reply. fortunately enough my companion speak Mandarin so we were able to contact her. Another downside of this property is it is attached to other homestay, we stumbled upon a group having a barbeque with lousy noise. Apparently they were family type so they finished their party at around 11pm.
