The staff, the cleanness of the room and the location
No kettle in the room for our morning coffees so had to buy one and No balcony in the room so had to go out the the terrace to smoke but it was a very nice terrace

Although the room we stayed in was small. It was very comfortable and clean. Larger rooms were also available, but we were more than happy with our choice. We opted for a room with a balcony. It was a large terrace balcony with an outside seating area that was a sun trap all day long. The staff were extremely friendly and we will definitely be returning next year.
Sun Anatolia Hotel was located in the heart of the city centre of the old town, Kaleici
It was 5-10 minute walk to the nearest beach and there was also a larger beach that was a 45 minute walk away or a short tram ride away. Distance from the airport was not very far and it cost £18 in a taxi from the airport to the hotel.
The staff were extremely friendly and we will definitely be returning next year.
The room was a little small. However larger rooms were available.

Great location right in the heart of the old town, The hotel looks lovely and cosy, and the rooms are clean
We didn't have covers on our bed for the night. I'm sure that was a mistake, though, and they forgot to put them in the room :)

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a 10-minute walk from the beach and with several restaurants only 5 minutes away. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, greeting us with a warm smile every time we came or went. Overall, this hotel is a hidden gem. Highly recommended!

Location is great, just on the edge of Old Town and 5 min walk from the tram and bus stops. it's quiet enough that you don't hear the street traffic or noise from the bars and restaurants and close enough to walk everywhere.
After staying at several places with shower-over-toilet setup it was nice to have a proper shower cubicle.
Big balcony.
Staff was nice and helpful when they were there.
The main drawback of the location is that it's just across the street from a mosque (our balcony was facing it) so we were woken up by the call of prayer just before dawn every morning. Earlugs didn't help.
Bed is on a firm side. I liked it, my partner found it uncomfortable.
Half the time staff was nowhere to be found.
Balcony was shared with the room next door and sadly they chose to smoke and leave cigarette butts and rubbish on our table. Obviously not the hotel's fault though.

The location is perfect. Clean room, good shower. Checked in earlier than I was supposed to. The owner was happy to help with any question I had including laundry late in the evening.
I saw 1 big cockroach in the bathroom. But they said this is how it is in the old town, and it happens at times. Overall, everything was very clean, so I believe it was an accident.

Excellent location in the old town and 5min away from one of the main day tours pickup. The owner at the reception was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We much apprcaitted that the owner accomodated our 2am which turned out to be 3am checkin with no issues.

The staff was friendly. And they changed my room when I asked for a brighter room where I’m thankfully for. Perfect location.
BUT there was a price difference between both rooms. There was no offer to meet me in that. And asking for that was not my responsibility.
