I genuinely do not know how this hotel is operating under the name “all inclusive” or even calling itself hospitality. My stay here in Antalya was nothing short of a nightmare, and I want to warn others before they make the same mistake.
A Shocking Check-In and an Even Worse Reception Experience
Before booking, I called the hotel days in advance to confirm whether we could have lunch on the first day instead of the checkout day, since we had an early flight. They clearly said “yes, no problem.” When we arrived, I confirmed again, and once again they said “yes.”
So far, maybe a misunderstanding. Maybe language issues. Fine.
But what followed was unbelievable.
When we went down for lunch—exactly as instructed—the receptionist (one of the grumpiest, rudest people I have ever encountered in the hospitality industry) suddenly ran towards us and practically barked at us that we were “not allowed to be in the kitchen area.” The tone and hostility were shocking. I have stayed in hotels all around the world and have NEVER seen such disrespect. Instead of calmly clarifying anything, he raised his voice, acted aggressively, and spoke to us like we were doing something wrong.
I was on holiday, not in a battlefield. No guest deserves this kind of treatment.
We left and had lunch outside just to avoid further humiliation.
When we came back, the same receptionist told me that “his boss wants to speak to me” and asked me to wait 5 minutes. I waited over 15 minutes and no one showed up. More disrespect.
And while I waited, the aggressive receptionist started yelling at the other (very kind) receptionist, blaming him loudly for everything. I could hear their argument from across the lobby. Completely unprofessional and honestly embarrassing.
Then he even tried to convince me not to leave a negative review. That alone says a lot.
A Complete Scam: “All Inclusive” That Includes Nothing
Their so-called “all inclusive” is a joke.
No buffet. No menu.
No buffet. No menu. You are simply handed a plate of whatever they decide to cook for you—no choice, no variety, nothing remotely resembling all-inclusive service. The food was mediocre at best, though at that point I was too upset from being yelled at to even enjoy it.
Also, not even water is included. I stayed in four hotels in Turkey during this trip—every single one gave mineral water daily. But at this “all inclusive” place, the receptionist told me water is not included. Instead, they offer a disgusting, smelly fountain water source that I would never drink.
Empty, Heavy Atmosphere
There were barely four families in the entire hotel. We were the ONLY check-in that day. The place feels empty, heavy, depressing—more like an abandoned building than a resort.
Breakfast was absolutely awful.
Terrible Location
Let me emphasize this: the location is a disaster.
Save yourself the stress. Stay in the old town and simply drive or take a taxi to beaches. You will have MUCH better options for a lower price and without being treated disrespectfully.
Poor Room Condition
The room was not clean.
The toilet smelled terribly and was uncomfortable to use.
The fridge made loud noises all night.
The heating/cooling system was a struggle to manage.
Deeply Disrespectful and Damaging to Antalya’s Hospitality Image
To management: I honestly feel sorry that staff like this are damaging the reputation of your hotel—and frankly, the reputation of Turkish hospitality, which is usually warm and welcoming. This level of disrespect and mismanagement is unacceptable.
Final Warning: Do Not Trust the Reviews
They actively try to convince guests not to write bad reviews, and clearly some people fall for it.
Do NOT trust the ratings.
Respect yourself and choose a different place.
I travel all around the world, and this was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Horribly disrespectful, chaotic, and absolutely not worth a single euro.
Also, no airport shuttle!!!

the hotel is well located. it doesn’t have its own beach, but provides tickets for sunbeds at the beach restaurant Amoor (3&4 rows only).
Different restaurants available in the area, at the same time the neighborhood is quite quiet.
The staff doesn’t seem to care about their job, no extra mile to be expected.
There is no elevator in the hotel!! And no one to help carry your luggage! Breakfast is below average. I am glad we didn’t take half board or all inclusive!
The rooms need renovation.
The barthroom is tiny, look closely on the pictures. There is no separate shower corner, just curtain, the shower head is pouring water on the floor next to the toilet and sync.
The balcony is not safe for small kids! There is a huge hole in the fence, my baby could easily fit into it - attaching photo.
They give you only 1 key, and they attached the room card to it so it cannot be separated. So you cannot switch on the AC and cool down the room while you away. You have to sit right in front of the AC and let it blow directly on you when you’re in the room. The room is tiny so there is no other way.
And the main concern I had - the “discounted” price is fake. In reality this property cannot cost more, so they intentionally put a high price originally and then imitate a discount. Don’t be fooled, you will get exactly what you pay for, a rather tired and average hotel.

The hotel is terribly managed, with routine maintenance problems horrendously handled. If you look through the one-star reviews on Booking and Google you will notice my experience is not unique, rather, it happens at least every few weeks. Unfortunately, I did not look into those reviews and was fooled by its overall high score. Now that you have encountered my review, dodge the bullet! JUST RUN! Really, save yourself some time and book a different hotel.
I was not able to check in when I arrived in the evening after an exhausting flight and a taxi ride with my suitcase, and was given no other option but to follow the staff to a "nearby hotel" 5-min away walking along the driveways. It is not the same room and its price on booking was about half of my original booking. I was expected to accept it as it is, and when I pointed out the price difference, I was given a "So??" by the staff. I received no apology, and a reluctantly added free dinner (very simple, one type of kebab as main) most certainly does not cover the price difference. I was told to talk to the manager, I never managed to see the manager. When I asked for the manager the next morning, I was told: "I do not understand why you have so many complaints."
EXCUSE ME??
The next day I was finally able to check in to my original room. Looks fine when you opened the door, but not when you actually stay the night. Water flows everywhere on the bathroom floor - no wonder they had a water problem the day before. You hear both flights and cars all night long - I had to wear earplugs to sleep. The best is yet to come: The whole hotel went out of electricity the next morning, as I was taking a shower before check-out, with water going everywhere - luckily I did not fall or else it is medical bills rather than booking reviews I need to work on now.
If you are not coming to Antalya for holiday, but for a fight, or to be made to feel like a trouble, then Esperanza is the place to go.

It's our second stay here after 2021, and it didn't change.
No lift to upper floors, cheap oversugared juices in the coffee corner.

the breakfast was really great, different options, very tasty food. the room was comfortable, with an air conditioner, the beach is very close. good to know that there is a beach that is open from 9-18 with a restaurant nearby, otherwise there is a public beach a bit further.
overall experience was really great, liked the place, the food, the location, friend staff. the only thing that could have been improved is the staff attitude at the beach (Amore). i had to repeat my order 5 times before they brought it to me.

Nice pool with a good amount of sun loungers and shade.
The man who managed the food service and cleaning staff were lovely. Hotel was clean throughout.
We made the original booking on booking.com and later extended our stay by three days, paying the hotel directly. When my wife's hospital appointment was changed we had to cancel the extension, however, the manager told us that he could not issue a refund as it was a Saturday and the bank was closed. If I'd have booked the extension through booking.com I would have got free cancellation. I really felt like the manager was lying directly to my face and I genuinely believe he could have done more to help. I got a really bad vibe from the manager and it's a shame because the rest of the staff at the hotel were lovely.
VERY noisy! Being close to the airport is convenient but comes at the expense of being directly under the flight path. Planes are heard day and night and are very loud. Not very peaceful.
Food options were fine but mostly repetitive.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool area was very nice. We enjoyed swimming in the pool. The buffet was amazing with an array of healthy and tasty choices. The staff was very personable and helpful. Pinar, the sweet receptionist at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and made our stay amazing.The location was perfect. It was close to the beach, coffee shops and other stores. We will definitely be back. This was our third stay at the Esperanza hotel. We love it!

An amazing cute hotel with friendly staff although English wasn’t that good, we were able to get what we were looking for. The full board option is the best, watch out for their servings , it’s really big portions as they love feeding their guests. It is also close proximity to the beaches .

This hotel is a true gem, and now I want to return to Antalya again and again because of it! From the very first moments, I felt warm and genuine care. I was especially impressed by the incredibly wonderful woman at the reception — her kindness, professionalism, and sincere smile made my stay even more special.
The hotel's cuisine is absolutely outstanding — every meal was a true gastronomic delight. Fresh dishes, a wide variety, and incredible flavors! And the beach… it’s simply a dream! Clean, well-maintained, with crystal-clear water — the perfect place to completely relax.
Thank you for an unforgettable stay! I will definitely be back!
