The property, rooms and beach were all immaculate. Beach was private and shared only with the Amanpuri hotel ($$$$), staff kept the beach clean and well tended. There are not tons of beach chairs but as a group of 7 we were able to get beach chairs daily. Staff is very kind and attentive, assists with activity bookings, and will escort you by golf cart to the Main Street. The grounds and walkways to the cottages were all pristine. There are a lot of stairs to and from in all directions, but manageable, just move at your own pace.
I felt that the alcoholic beverages were pricey ($10-15 USD for cocktails, $60+ bottles of wine). They do have daily happy hour at the pool from 5-6. Food was more reasonably priced at the pool bar and room service. The Beach restaurant was also quite pricey, but beautiful set up and feels more elevated than a “hotel restaurant” so we felt this was justified for a nice birthday dinner.

Everything was very good. The most importent thing is the service, which was excellent.
The hotel is build uphill and to go to the beach and back you need to use the stairs. So, I guess the hotel is not prepared to guests with mobility issues. I hope I will stay healthy in order to visit again but I would like to know what kind of arrangments the hotel has for guests with mobility issues.

Suppose to be the best beach the best sea but too big wave . No chance for kids to swim there.
Not good to visit the hotel this time of the year. No information about the Big wave.
Not good for kids. Too many stairs. No kids club. Too difficult to walk from the room to the beach.
When we can not swim in the sea due to the big wave, no place for our kids

Absolutely amazing place to stay in Phuket. The beach is fantastic , the family cottage is the best option when staying with the kids. The staff is very friendly and is always eager to help. The food in the restaurants and the breakfast - beyond expectations.

The long ‘private’ beach is what makes this hotel. It is well laid out so that the loungers are set back from the beach and you’re assigned your own location for your entire stay. The rooms are also very well appointed and super comfortable.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful, none more so than Book, Nut and Pooh who were exceptional in their service!
The dining options were excellent too as including a very nice breakfast buffet.
The a la carte options at breakfast were a bit slow to come out.
One morning we waited 15 minutes for our poached egg on avocado toast when they only brought one for my wife instead of the two we ordered. When we reminded them of this our second one apparently had to go to the back of the order queue so it was another 20 minutes when mine finally arrived. I would have just cancelled it and gone to the egg station for an omelette if I’d known but they kept reassuring me it was coming straightaway! A bit frustrating but otherwise breakfast service was also very good.
The only other negative is the dark tiles in the pool. It doesn’t make the pool as inviting as lighter coloured tiles would be although nobody really used the pool much so it didn’t really matter.

ONLY THE BEACH WAS FINE.NICE ,CLEAN AND GREAT WATER.
Our recent stay at Surin Phuket was unfortunately far from what we expected, especially given the hotel’s reputation and premium pricing. While the location is undeniably beautiful, the overall experience was marred by the disappointing behavior of the staff and lack of basic hospitality.
During our 3-night stay, we faced continuous evening downpours. One evening, we returned drenched from the rain, only to be met with indifference at the entry gate. The staff seemed more preoccupied with assisting their colleagues than attending to guests. Despite our obvious state, we were not offered a golf cart to the lobby and had to make our way unaided. Once at the lobby, it was disheartening to see hotel staff using towels to dry themselves while none were offered to us to help us dry off.
Room service was another letdown. The food quality did not match the hotel’s price point. We ordered pad Thai and salmon steak; while the salmon was passable, the pad Thai was the worst we’ve had in Thailand. It was below the standards of even a modest eatery.
Adding to the frustration, despite staff having their own cars, hotel pick-up and drop-off services were refused, and we were directed to use external taxis instead. This lack of assistance further added to the sense that guests' needs were not a priority.
Overall, Surin Phuket was a disappointing experience, particularly given the price. For these reasons, we will not be returning and would not recommend it to others looking for value and decent service.

Beautiful location, secluded and gated property, great food and service. Beach was fantastic and private.
Had sand in the bed upon arrival on first night, concerning that sheets may not have been changed. Be aware there are a lot of steps and no elevators, we had 55 steps to get to main building. People with mobility issues may have difficulty here.

Overall is ok
During check in it was asked 2000 THB per day of deposit which is around 900 us$ if you stay 2 weeks !!! When trying to pay this deposit with 3 différents credit cards the staff said that our card was with insufficient balance which was absolutely not true . Their machine was just not working . This is very embarrassing to hear that from the staff of a 5 stars hotel.
