When I arrived with my wife for the honeymoon one of the transport staff told me welcome back !! I was never there and I am with my wife in the honeymoon! How stupid can you be to say something like this to a guest with a woman!

The only positive aspect of our stay: friendly and helpful gold car staff.
1. Severe Food Poisoning & Poor Compensation
During our stay, I only ate hotel food and unfortunately suffered from severe food poisoning. I reported the issue at checkout and requested compensation, but the only offer was a 50% discount on the room service (which consisted of bananas to help with my diarrhea!). I ended up having to visit a clinic where they confirmed it was food poisoning and administered IV fluids. To make matters worse, I had a 20-hour flight back to the US that same evening. Traveling under those conditions—dealing with diarrhea, nausea, and dizziness—was a nightmare. Despite the clear health risk, the hotel did not take any responsibility.
2. Outdated and Poorly Maintained Facilities
The hotel itself is clearly in need of renovation. It did not feel like a 5-star establishment. There were visible damages and peeling paint on the ceiling and throughout the room. The shower also had drainage issues, and the water would just sit there instead of draining properly.
3. Unacceptable Room Condition
Upon arrival, our room was infested with ants. It was extremely unpleasant. The hotel staff did come to spray the room with DEET, but the smell was overpowering and the whole experience was very uncomfortable. the slippers in the room were used—clearly not replaced after previous guests—making it feel even more unsanitary.
4. Misleading “Romance Room” Description
We booked a “romance room” which was supposed to have guaranteed ocean views. In reality, we had barely 50% of a view of the ocean, which was disappointing.
5. Inconvenient Villa Location
The villas are located up a hill, requiring a golf cart ride to access them. While this may sound fun at first, it becomes quite frustrating when you need services or assistance and have to wait up.
6. Overpriced for What You Get
We paid $800 per night, which is an absurd price given the issues we faced—food poisoning, poor maintenance, and lack of taking responsibility.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel. Everything was well above expectations—from the cleanliness of the room to the comfort of the bed and the overall atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming especially Hakimi funny one and always ready to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The facilities were well maintained, and every detail felt thoughtfully arranged. It was a truly memorable experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service and comfort.

Amazing hotel! The service is absolutely top-level and everything was just perfect. Great atmosphere and an incredible team — so kind, helpful, and truly outstanding. Highly recommend trying the blue coconut drink at the reception — it’s super delicious!

Beautiful property, clean beach, great breakfast.
The building exterior windows, trims near my villa swimming pool shows it age with paint chips and cracks. The check-in process was ridiculously slow. It should not take 20+ minutes to check in. I know check in is at 3pm. We were there 2:45pm and they couldn’t give us a room. They handed us keys around 3:20 pm.
