Great location.Excellent room and facilities.Food here is delicious with a varied menu for all tastes. Rachel and all the staff at The Cove were so friendly and efficient.We really enjoyed our brief 3 night stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for that special place to relax and enjoy the tranquility it has to offer.

Needed a fan to help the air conditioning cool the room. Understandable because there are gaps around door:windows and having a fan as well as air conditioning was fine and room was then a lovely temperature

The rooms are very nice and spacious. Clean. Good air-conditioning. Modern.
The rooms are on the beach which is nice but the hotel is just the rooms and the restaurant with 5/6 beds. There are many people that visit the hotel for the day for lunch or dinner. And stay on till late. When we were there there is a very big group of tourists that came for the day and then stayed on until late. They were loud and didnt feel like we were staying at a hotel at all. The hotel has no facilities only the rooms. The staff were very slow and there English was not great, which made it difficult to communicate with them. Also the beach is heavily affected by the tides, which was mostly low which meant you couldnt swim.

- The food was for the most part of good quality - Comfortable beds - The immediate ambiance around the restaurant was pretty and the view too, but with three small children it felt unsafe with the trafficated road nearby. - It could be suitable for a short stay due to the proximity to the Phuket Airport and Rassada Pier, but would not recommend the Family House. - Could be suitable if you love driving around, or you could book another hotel close to a nice beach so that you don't need to deal with the horrible traffic in Thailand. - Most of the staff were friendly
- Stayed for 5 nights. We were planning to stay for 15 nights, but soon realised we had to go elsewhere. We were travelling with three small children (5,5 years old, 2,5 years old and 11 months). We decided to leave for Koh Phi Phi for 11 days and come back just before our travel back to Norway. I had direct communication with the general manager and realised that she will never put any effort into helping the customer get some sort of refund, her only concern is to get money into the business. Not even a small compensation as in a free meal (she didn't even respond to my suggestion) was offered. Do not expect any help as long as there is money involved. We were in Thailand for 60 days, this was the most expensive hotel, but the only hotel we didn't enjoy. - The location of the Family House is right next to a road and away from the beachfront. The location didn't feel safe as the kids could run into the street within a few seconds and the traffic in Thailand is unpredictable. It also meant that there were traffic noise inside the house as there is little/no noise isolation in the house. - The stairs inside the house made it unsafe for the baby to stay in the "livingroom" as there were no stair gate (and not possible to get one either when we requested one). - There were no daytime activities for us at the hotel as the beach did not feel inviting and there were no pool. We could walk to another beach but they had no sunbeds or shadow and the water had lots of jellyfish. - We tried to book a longtail boat for a daytrip. We were told from one of the staff that they were booked, but from the general manager that they were not possible to book due to the weather forecast. We had to book through an external company, the weather was perfect - Quite expensive dining. Breakfast was included, but you could only have one breakfast option. We prefer having both savoury and sweet for breakfast.

This was the perfect getaway if you dont want a bog resort and the intimacy of a small hotel. The bungalow was very spacious and clean. Very good breakfast and restaurant literally in front of the door. Very friendly staff and management. We are definitely coming back.

Breakfast included a hot drink, juice or smoothie, and an a la carte menu item - was very pleasant. The room was large and comfortable, the shower had a telephone head and a seat and hangers for swimwear. Large comfortable bed plus a daybed near the window. Great location right on the beach.
It was quite secluded so it was a bit difficult to get transport to and from the accommodation but lovely once there. The beach was a bit shell covered and rocky but nice once you got out a bit. Not too much nearby but a walk up the hill brought you to some restaurants.

the house is not furnished completely. There is not adequate light in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen very bare nowhere to sit. Tv room has no coffee table. No drying facilities for clothes after swimming.
