Liked the view of Sea & calm environment with staying in middle of Jungle..
The basic instruments like toothpaste/toothbrush wasn't supplied as complementary...troubled me on the spot as this is quite a remote place & no shops are available nearby & I was travelling overnight to reach this place.

Very quiet resort up on the hill with an amazing ocean view.
Room is very large with traditional thai feel and look.
Room had a spa which was nice filled up.
Short 300 baht tuk tuk trip from bangla road and patong beach.
Great if you have a motorcycle hire, this can be done through the resort so that’s nice.
The wood fire pizza across the road along with their partner restaurant’s are fantastic to dine at.
Little bit pricey if on a tight budget food component but what you save on the room makes up for that.
I wouldn’t call it luxury by any means but it’s certainly not a luxury price tag.
Short trip to Koron beach which is beautiful.
It’s very peaceful all round I will stay again in high season as it’s budget friendly and clean.
It’s hard to cross carefully on the motorcycle as it’s on a blind corner. But that can’t be avoided.

The views and the staff are amazing. The associated restaurant has fantastic food and drinks.
The bed was a bit hard for my comfort, and the tub was a little awkward with the shower hose.

Good location overall, between Patong and Karon beach. We stayed here before in 2023 and had a great experience however we came to know their previous location just right opposite where we stayed before has been renamed to Anonna Sunset.
Staff were a great and friendly, breakfast was amazing, views are spectacular.
The room itself was not great. Not all that clean, Shower was broken, Mattresses were super uncomfortable. We were hoping for a goods night rest before we travelled the next day but were super uncomfortable.
If the room was comfortable and Mattresses were good I would of definitely rated secret cliff at least 8/10

A very good hotel! The rating is not very high, but out of the four top-rated hotels, this one turned out to be the best. The breakfast was better than in other hotels, the views were simply stunning, and there was a heated pool. Patong, Karon Beach, and a secret beach with turquoise water—almost like the Similan Islands—are just a 10-minute walk away.
The view from the balcony is amazing. The staff is very friendly. I give this hotel the highest rating and will definitely stay here again next time!

I disagree with the negative reviews, as I believe this hotel is highly underrated.
Secret Cliff Resort is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful hotels in Phuket within this price range. The resort offers beautiful, clean, and comfortable rooms located in guesthouses, each containing two separate rooms. These rooms come with outdoor terraces that provide stunning views of the sea and lush, jungle-like gardens surrounding the houses.
The WiFi is decent, and the breakfast is far better than what you’d typically find in an average Phuket hotel. Plus, the breakfast room and bar offer unforgettable views.
One of the highlights of this resort is its signature swimming pool. When you visit, don’t forget to bring your phone or camera—you’ll definitely want to capture the breathtaking scenery.
Also, they have mini-gym for those who need it during vacation and parking for those who drive.
The only thing to keep in mind is the terrain. The entire hotel complex is built on very steep hills, so if you have mobility issues, you may face some challenges (but don’t worry—the hotel team will transport you and your luggage in a mini car, which is very convenient.)
Give them a try! Highly recommended!

Price vs what you get. The rooms were available at 60% of the prices of similar hotels.
View is indeed nice, not as good as it is shown in the pictures (depends how n the room you get, for us, we could see the sea but majority view was the reception building) but still good enough, sunset was pretty good.
Check in process is very slow, seems like their tech is from 20 century, so much paper work. And most employees couldn’t speak English.

The room sizes were great, I had a king size villa with private entrance. The resort itself had stunning views and offered a shuttle service to/from rooms to meals/reception. The facilities available were good, pool bar, restaurant, on site spa.
I was just expecting a bit more for the price I’d paid. There was no ‘luxury’ feel to anything. The rooms weren’t the cleanest, the bed although huge wasn’t very comfy, everything just felt a little dated and run down. Breakfast choices were poor, it was more buffet lunch than breakfast. I didn’t get a helpful vibe from the staff there like I’ve had at other locations in Thailand. I chose the resort to have a luxury stay in between island hopping and I don’t feel like I got full value for money, I could’ve gotten a much nicer room for less somewhere else.

The photos displayed on booking.com belong to a different property called AonA Sunset Boutique. The washroom we got was the smallest in the entire town.
The only positive aspect of this place is its location, situated between Karon and Patong beaches.
They should’ve posted original pics in the booking platform

The view of sunset is nice and staffs are nice sometimes. Breakfast view is nice and they service golf carts to bring you down from your room.
The washroom is outdated and the “shower” is made out of broken and leaking tub with a shower head at knee level to use. You have to sit to shower because there is no shower curtain to prevent splashing.
Floor will be wet from the leakage and the property could not offer the same room level for better washroom. The newer rooms seen in the property’s site is no longer with the property which is misleading.
Inconvenient location. You cannot walk to ANYWHERE as there are no side walks. This place only offers ONE trip to the beach which we have missed it once as no one came to pick us up from our room.
Super short staffed as well. No welcome drink and no slippers as mentioned in their website. The complaint filed was ignored and staff pretended like I never complained the next day.

We arrived at the accommodation after a long journey at 2 o’clock in the morning. They left a person at the reception who was doing other work. He took us to a room that was dirty after opening, a mess, scattered furniture. We had to deal with the reception again and the next room was the same again. Dirty, untidy room. After a long time we got another room, which was quite ok. The next day we had to deal with the reception again, when the employees who work at the reception were already there and there was not a single apology for such an unpleasant situation when after 12 hours of travel you deal with getting a room on the 3rd try. The hotel is very old. The room service did not even replenish the toilet paper, which I had to go and take back to the room. The cleaning service was very poor. We were not told that the hotel runs a transfer to both Karon and Phuket. The hotel corresponds to a maximum of 2*. Really the worst after x years of staying there.

It was an enjoyable stay throughout the three days we stayed. The ocean view was beautiful, the breakfast that was served was delicious, front office always picked up the phone to whatever needs we needed! Clean and quiet. Helpful stay, very friendly. Also, they understand English (in case anyone is worried that a language barrier will be tricky) Tried their best to accommodate to their abilities. After, the trouble of communicating about our rooms they said the next day they could change it (which we gladly obliged and appreciated it). We loved how they accommodated for us without a second thought because we requested our rooms be nearby rather than separate resorts due to misinformation.
Other than that, highly recommend this place! (pls call them to bring you up tho, those hills are steep and mini cardio for the morning). BOOK THE OCEAN VIEW, life was worth living once seeing it every morning for 3 days + hot tub on the balcony (do what you will with that info) AND the bathroom was a sliding wooden door felt boujee going to use it.
The ONLY complaint is that booking.com and the resort did NOT update their photos, as well as not mentioning the change in ownership. We booked for two rooms (one was ocean view, one was sea view) my partner and I + my daughter stayed on the Anona side while MY SONS were on the other side in a separate resort across the street (the room on the other side was mediocre and lacked the beauty that we booked) we booked for a family room and was meant to have three beds but it came with one and they had to bring a second bed in. The image on the website for the family room with the ocean view wasn’t the same. We understood they were under renovation but they had failed to mention that months before. We paid months ahead and still wasn’t informed of such changes and renovations to our room till we were on site. Because the lack of communication/updated information BEFORE we arrived, we had felt very unhappy that we were bamboozled by the TWO separate rooms (one had beauty but lacked the extra bed like the photo, one looked like you were living as a worker within the resort.. plain). The only problem was how the rooms we booked wasn’t accurate for what was shown on the website.
