The property is beautiful and well looked after with a brilliant view. Direct access down to the beautiful beach was ideal. We had a room next to the pool, which was a brilliant size and very comfortable. Multiple pools and sun terraces to choose from which was lovely. The pool bar has a brilliant menu and the food was really good, decent cocktails too. The people working in the hotel were all lovely. I had my birthday when we stayed, and they arranged a cake for me.
Highly recommend the restaurant for dinner.

The resort has an incredible location between Kata and Kata Noi. It gives you great seclusion from the busy areas in town. Kata Beach is very busy, but Kata Noi Beach is just perfect. It's a very short walk down some steps to the beach. Both town areas are very close, but you do need to walk up and down a hill or some steps.
As for the stay, we stayed in an Ocean Wing suite. If you are thinking about this room, just book it now. It's a private paradise with only 6 rooms, it's own pool, lounge area and just the most incredible sunset. Sai and Ton in the Ocean Wing took care of everything, we felt very pampered there - amazing guys. Most of the time we saw only a couple of other guests in the Ocean wing, so if you are looking for privacy, this is great.
Th room was nice, a bit dated but we really were out in the Ocean wing most of the time we were at the resort and not the room.
The restaurant was top notch, creative food and nice views. We ended up eating at the restaurant itself once, and then ordered food from time to time directly to the Ocean wing for a private meal.

The hotel grounds I have to say are immaculate, and absolutely beautiful stunning views of the bay.
This hotel is beautiful and yet absolutely outdated! It plays on a theme of a bygone royal era but neglect to stay current on the amenities that matter most! On the day of check in I was told I was upgraded to a suite with pool access only to find a slew of issues. First, after a long day of traveling, there was no hot water to clean up. After asking to have it fixed again it stopped working the next day. Rooms are spacious and charming but also smell musty and old! The bed was large and springy and the pillows were as flat as pancakes! I do not like leaving negative reviews and reviews in general but I am truly disappointed with the accommodations especially at the price that was charged. Do not get me started with the food. The price for dinner was the equivalent of a dinner at a fancy American restaurant and not Thai. The cost must have been to sit and look at the views but food was averaged at best. The staff I have to say it was the only silver lining. If you are looking for a place with a view and well kept grounds then this is your place. Royal is not what i would describe my experience perhaps it was when built but now fails to meet basic hospitality standards. (A place to clean yourself, and a comfortable place to to rest your head at night.

The service is first class - discrete, quick, and very effective. Our room was lovely. Well appointed, great views, comfortable bed, lots of space. Some great unexpected touches, like cake in the afternoon. Really a tremendous hotel. So cleverly done architecturally. The salt water pool in particular is gorgeous. We will be back.

calm paradise just close do Kata Noid beach. The hotel has 4 pools and a great restaurant. Service was excellent, the room was spacious and really nice.
