The staff at Indochine Hotel were truly wonderful — very caring, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. The location of the hotel is also great, with beautiful scenery and views, although it is a bit far from the city which can make getting around less convenient.
Our room was clean, but there were some issues with comfort and facilities. The air conditioning was old and struggled to cool the room properly. The bathroom had low water pressure in the toilet and faucet hose, and the toilet often needed to be flushed twice. The bed was made up of two twin beds pushed together, and the mattress was very soft, which was uncomfortable and not supportive for the back or posture.
Overall, the hotel has wonderful staff and lovely surroundings, but improvements in room comfort and facilities would make the stay much better.

We like the morning yoga session, we had a very nice and professional caoch.
Breakfast is moderate.
The 5 bedrooms villa is spacious and clean.
Overall is good.
1. Bathroom Shoes (Day 3) - We requested 10 pairs of bathroom shoes for 10 of us. However, upon returning to the villa at night, only a few pairs were provided. We suggest providing the requested number upfront, instead of requiring guests to follow up again.
2. Water Leakage in Closet Area (Day 3) -
When we returned to the villa at 10:15 pm, we found a bath towel on the closet floor, which was wet due to water leakage (see photo). This suggests that housekeeping staff were aware of the issue during the day but left it unattended without arranging repairs. The problem was only fixed after we requested it, and it took more than 30 minutes, despite us being very tired and preparing for an early morning flight. We recommend that such facility issues be fixed immediately and proactively.
3. Pre-Packed Breakfast (Day 4) - The pre-packed breakfast set we received in the early morning included 10 packets of toast bread, but all were too hard to eat. Only the sandwiches and boiled eggs were edible. We suggest providing food items that remain fresh and edible for longer, instead of items that cannot be consumed.
4. Lighting in Villa
The lighting throughout the villa was too dim, especially in the staircase area. We suggest brighter lighting to improve both comfort and safety.

The view from the room was exactly how it was pictured and was the. best part of the stay
I booked a two room pool villa one of the most expensive on the property. The villa was very old, had mildew smell that was overwhelming. The rooms were dusty dirty had paint peeling. The air conditioner at first made so much noise you it was fixed but then started to leak water on the bed, while the staff tried to fix the unit it was a no go. The bathroom in the master suite leaked when it rained it was supposed to have a clear plexiglass ceiling with wooden slats to let the light in. This was so dirty and grungy that the bathroom was dark with poor lighting. The furniture was really old and to say well lived in would be kind. There was heavy construction next door that went on the full 7 days of our stay. The staff came evey day to clean light scented oil to mask the smell. We asked for a new villa but was told there was not one available. The pool was good,old but enjoyable. Roof and the patio could have used a good power wash before we arrived, the staff was power washing the property every day just not our villa. I though it was great that it was pet friendly property as my family like dogs but letting the dogs poop and pee on the tennis court and the walk way to breakfast without cleaning it up was a little much. My son stepped in it with his flip flops on the way to bfast great way to start the day lets say no one needed coffee to wake up that day the oder took care of that.

The villa is old and very very very dirty. It is dusty and we found empty rubish. Also, it has a lot of ants that you can’t even leave your bag open. I actually found some ants on the bed. My reservation was 3 nights. I only stayed the first night. To be honest, no clean person could stay there.

All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our room with private plunge pool and jacuzzi has amazing ocean views. The cleanliness of the room is superb. They allowed us to check out a bit later. The restaurant has makes delicious lunch/dinner. Breakfast is also good. We will definitely come back again.
AC capacity is not strong to cool down the entire room if the curtains/partition is open. It can only cool down the bedroom but during the day, the lounge area becomes hot and the fan isn’t enough.

They provide decent number of both way shuttle buses to main attraction places. Staff is outstanding and ever pleasant. The breakfast was good. good spread too.

The resort property was amazingly beautiful. The view from the room was spectacular. The breakfast meal was very good and the restaurant staff was also excellent. The transport service to and from the room was amazingly efficient.
The shuttle service from the Hotel to Patong was nice, but maybe more shuttle times would make it better.
There were bugs in the bathroom due to some of the glass panelling wall not completely sealed from the edges. There were gaps in the glass that lines up with the walls. They provide an electronic bug repellent that kills most of the bugs, but we still had 1 lizard and 1 spider (hand size) that were in the bathroom. It wasn't terrible but is was annoying.
The only other down side is that the hotel is not walking distance to anything convenient, so you need some kind of transportation to anywhere, but most modes of transportation is cheap.

Was a bit concerned about the maintence of the truck breaks as you can hear that they need to be replaced and the hills to the room are steep. The protective glass near the pool area had cracks in the anchor points and looks like it needs a bit of maintenance. The A/C seemed to only be on a very cold setting and could not control the temperature
