It was eerily quiet. The place was empty like a ghost town. Felt it was over priced compared to similar apartments.

Hi, my name is William Lucas. I stayed in the Chalong Miracle Lakeview resort for 4 nights (fm 2/11/2019-6/11/2019) in a 1-bedroom apartment (unit C2-125). This was my repeated stay in your resort and I plan to make the Chalong Miracle Lakeview as my preferred choice of accommodation in Phuket, if certain shortcomings that I had encountered during my this stay could be resolved by the management. We go to visit Phuket EVERY year. Had been doing so for the last 10 years. I am also a Senior Reviewer of the TripAdvisor forum and will always write reviews about my accommodation each time after a holiday trip. Haven't written any review yet in the TA forum on my stay at the Chalong Miracle Lakeview. I wish to hear from the management first about 2 issues which I had faced during my stay at your resort before doing so.
Except for 2 negative issues that we had faced during our stay this time at your resort, the Chalong Miracle Lakeview is overall an excellent place to stay in Phuket. That's why we had intend to make this place as our base during our future annual visit to Phuket and hope that the resort can improve on the following 2 issues. The issues are :
1. Unlike our previous visit to your resort, this time the TV in our room does NOT have any cable movies or HBOs. All programmes are local shows and are dubbed in Thai language. Even the foreign shows are also dubbed in Thai too ! :(
After a long day of sightseeing, we usually would love to unwind and relax in our room in the evening with a good cable or HBO movie that is in the original ENGLISH language. It is a shame that having 2 very nice TVs in the apartment that we are not able to enjoy this as there is no cable movies at all.
2. Front desk staff should be better trained for the checking-in & checking-out process of guests to show a higher standard of customer service that an excellent resort like the Chalong Miracle Lakeview deserves.
During checking-in, I had requested for an extra room-card and was told by your staff that I had to pay a deposit of 1,000 bahts which will be refunded back to me when I check-out. I paid the deposit without any hesitation at all.
But during checking out, when I was rushing to catch an early flight, the staff told me that the initial staff who had attended to my check-in, did not make a note about that 1,000 bahts deposit that I had paid. Even when I had explained to her that if I had not paid the deposit how would I be able to have the 2nd room-card in the first place, she did not accept my explanation and insisted on calling someone on the phone to verify the matter. As it was 7am in the morning, she had some problems in reaching anybody on her phone and took quite awhile before she can get hold of someone to authorise her to return the deposit to me.
