We had the most amazing experience at Avista Hideaway!The resort is stunning — super clean, no strange smells, and every corner is beautifully maintained. It truly feels like a peaceful hideaway.
A very special thank you to Majda, the manager, who made our stay unforgettable. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring.Because of her, everything felt even more welcoming and smooth. She’s truly an asset to the hotel!

The hotel is like a labyrinth, it was difficult to find our way to the different facilities.
The hotel’s location is far from Patong center and there is not much to do near by.

From arrival we loved the ambiance and the vibe of the location. You're greeted with kinds hearts and warm smiles. At the lobby you'll be served with a cold towel, an amazing blue hibiscus (i think) tea that will change color immediately after you add lemon juice (also provided), accompanied with a sweet coconut candy. Miss Jane was our receptionist and she was such an amazing and phenomenal person and customer service rep. She guided us through the whole bill, broke down expenses, and informed up of all the hotel amenities and services provided. Once paperwork was completed and signed, SURPRISE! You have been upgraded! Myself and along with my crew were upgraded to a jacuzzi suite. Maybe it was luck? But overall Miss Jane hands-down is the most amazing talent that Avista Phuket has. Going to the suite, you are afforded a free golf card ride down the hill.
Other notable places were the main pool for sure! During our times hanging out at the pool and bar, Mr. Been was the one taking care of us. His drinks and conversation kept us entertained. Lastly, the breakfast buffet was one of the best I've been to, the selection and organization of everything around were def top-class. The staff at breakfast were equally as top-class. so very helpful to the last minute, as i'm getting up to get water for myself, 1 male staff just urged me to sit down and insisted he go get the water for me. Same goes for my party. so i played a prank on one of them and said i'm getting more food, then he spotted me at the juice bar and we both laughed as i was triumphantly holding the glass of juice in my hand.
My party and i took the time to walk around the whole property and noticed, the most impressive things about the hotel is not just it's beauty, but how observant each staff is, their willingness to drop what they're doing to attend to you (Neeka?), and the level of dedication to cleanliness of the property.
Nothing, if you have something to complain about this resort and it's staff, you probably don't know how to enjoy life. Good luck to you and your future endeavors.

The room isolation is very bad and the sounds out the room is easy to hear and its so annoying I requested to change my room location even so its so bad u lucky and have quit neighbors u feel good otherwise u will wake up at 3 or 4 AM from the sounds

There are added fees on to everything. Be very aware of your purchases and read receipts we had added charges that we needed to contest and the service charge and tax are outrageous

Luxury resort at not-so-high price compared to its neighboring resorts
Location was far from the town, thus requiring paid public transportation every time. Shuttle service offered used to get full very quickly.

Very outdated and not clean. Rooms were not cleaned well, sheets stained, common areas like the gym, kids play area, elevators etc were not cleaned well. It was just very dirty and not well maintained. More of a 2 star.. maybe 3 …

The stay was generally comfortable — the room was clean, the bed was cozy, and the overall hotel facilities were nice. Staff at the reception were helpful, and check-in/check-out went smoothly.
However, there were two major downsides. First, there was loud maintenance work going on during our stay, which made it hard to relax. We weren’t informed about this beforehand, and no apology or compensation was offered, which was disappointing.
Second, the golf cart service to the rooms wasn’t pleasant. The driver seemed unfriendly and clearly expected a tip. When not given, his attitude changed noticeably, which made the rides uncomfortable.
