Lovely and quiet. The hotel is in a secluded location which can be a good or a bad thing depending on what you are looking for. Had the place virtually to ourselves and never struggled to get space by the pools. Had a pool villa which was a good size, massive bathroom, outside shower and a nice pool to take a dip in whenever we wished. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The restaurant wasn't running all day and finished serving food at about 5pm (this was due to the season, we visited in May). Breakfast was just one choice, English. They did allow you to order food to be delivered to the hotel which was nice and we found it easy to do as there weren't a lot of other restaurants in the region. Beds were firm which may not be to everyone's taste.

The peaceful nights away from the party crowd of Chaweng beach road. Although its only 5 mins away by car, Bhundari offers you a different vibe that guarantees a good nights sleep.
If the property was well maintained wouldve been better. Staff mentioned about the renovation that may take place this year as the property was closed during COVID.

The place was very nice and fancy, the huts are very well built with very nice wooden details, a shower outside, etc. One of the places that had a lot of cool lighting options and power outlets for charging your phone by the bed. Why can't other hotels do this:)? Breakfast was served for us from the menu, very well done, beach view and all. The staff was really friendly, as always, we booked a scooter, everything was handled well, we did not have any issues. The pool area is fancy, insta friendly:)
The place looked abandoned, I know this is the end of season, we got a good deal, but the place was completely empty, sometimes we had to look for staff, since there were almost no guests. The bar pool was closed all the time and the kitchen had only a limited selection of food available, which makes sense, since there were no guests. The place is not in a walking distance from anything, plus you can not easily walk anywhere, since there are no sidewalks, so, we either had to get a taxi, o just be sure to get a scooter right away. Be careful with the doors to the bathroom, we jammed our fingers a few times, they are heavy, need to get used to them.

If I had to say one thing, it would be the photos on the site.
Too many bugs. A horde of ants in the bathroom. There are too many mosquitoes. There is a big gap in the window, so mosquitoes keep coming in through it. I was able to kill about 20 of them in one night, so I was conservative.

I am sure this property had its magic when it was running. Now its abounded and neglected but nice view and bathroom
The place was basically empty no guest no staff just me in the middle of nowhere with sooo many insects sometimes it felt scary for solo woman .

Lovely self contained bungalow at a good price on special. Staff very friendly and helpful. Adam taxi driver was quick, professional and friendly
A lot of confusion about this Bhundhari Resort location. As there are 2 locations at opposite ends of chewong. This one I stayed at had just been reopened and was not in the location I expected. Every taxi went to the wrong location first adding over 20mins per trip. Much confusion and extra costs.
While I appreciate the effort in restarting this location. It was not suitable for my needs.

Wonderfull staff, clean rooms, awesome Pool Villa great views, very good service, easy bike rental with perfect access to the island. Nice beaches with chillout spots. Fun pool setup with many levels and a poolbar.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed out stay tremendously. The villa we had was located right on the beach and had a private pool, so it was excellent. Due to the COVID and lack of tourist business, the hotel restaurant & bar was closed, but the staff checked on us every day and made sure we had breakfast delivered to our room. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this resort to others.

The staff were very helpful.
I feel bad writing a bad review. It was clear that Covid has taken its toll on this resort and I understand that this is a really difficult time for hotels. It felt like we were the only people on the resort. It was like a ghost town. And the resort and facilities were in desperate need of some TLC. The pool didn't look clean, there were crumbling stairs down to the beach, the room, which looked beautiful on the pictures was musty and dark. The restaurant wasn't open and we had breakfast delivered to our rooms in a polystyrene box. The breakfast was not very appetising. The staff, the ones we did see, were lovely and obviously trying their best, but the place was a bit depressing. I can only hope that somehow tourists will start coming back to Thailand and the resort owners can inject a bit of money into the place to spruce it up. It really needs it at the minute.

Everything was perfect. The staff was lovely. We had a villa up in the hill, and the staff always drove us up when we came home from different things!!! Cleaning service was SO nice. I mean EVERYTHING was perfect!
