The view from the room was beautiful. It is a 15 walk to the famous bride and you can get on their for your journey to Hell Fire Pass. Meals and bites restaurant is right across the street from the hotel. Great food at a great price. Also Ning massage

The location is great. The rooms with view is wonderful. We got four bottles of water for each day which is unlike most hotels. A special mention to the receptionist who was very helpful. Hats off to her.

The staff was exceptional and very helpful. The location is beautiful - green and pristine with relaxing river views from most of the rooms, as well as chilling areas around the property. Close enough to town that it's convenient, but far enough that it feels private.
I know the property has no control over it, but the construction site next door started up early on the weekend, which wasn't a great way to wake up. I know it's a temporary issue, but until the building is finished, be aware of it.

lovely location right on the river. Staff were very helpful. Davenport restaurant served delicious food and drinks and catered all day for guests. Very relaxing for a short stay.

Great river view from our room. Nice comfy bed. Staff friendly and helpful Breakfast and restaurant food was very good. 10 minute walk to the bridge over the river Kwai.
The ac unit in our room needs updating, took a long time to get the room cool.

The river view is excellent, the courtyard is green, clean, and looks nice at riverside. Staffs are nice and friendly either in person service or chat on LINE application. The breakfast set is not much but it's ok for our family. Location is good, close to River Kwai bridge but not far from city center.
There should be a small corner-table and a chair in the room (we had to work and eat snacks on the bed). The table on our veranda is quite old and it's outside. There're many ants in my room. Luckily, they walked on the wall and ceiling, not the floor.

Only plus is the location of the hotel. It's river side. But there are endless numbers of hotel which are river side at Kanchanaburi.
List will be exhaustive however I will just put few points; 1. Despite booking rivew view room, they give ground floor room which has absolutely no view 2. They charge THB 500/night for dog which is not mentioned while one books this hotel 3. Better check every corner of the room while check-in, because at the check-out they will show some or the other stain at any corner of the room and then will blame you to get extra money from customer 4. They have fixed breakfast and it remains same for each day. So it feels like quarantine facility with no food option at all 5. They do not give upper floors if you are travelling with your 2 kg pet. Their logic is that when pet walks in the room it makes noise at lower floors. I wonder how can a 2 kg pet walking on the floor can disturn the people on lower floors. Probably hotel staff does not know that humans avg. weight is not less than 45-50 Kgs. Anyways, i do not expect any logic from their mechanically working staff.

The views over the river are great and the cafe is nice sitting out by the river. Rooms are clean and grounds immaculately maintained. They do care about appearance. Very good for selfies. Lots of parking available
Tends to be a lot of style and no substance. The rooms look nice an minimal and the bathroom fittings are very modern but there is a lack of functionality. The chairs on the balcony are very uncomfortable, the "desk" is not a desk as it is chest high and no chair to sit on, there are no bedside tables (you can tell from the photos but I missed that, my bad) and nowhere to store luggage. The pool is also on trend, looks great but not really for swimming, more for taking selfies and sitting in, also had to go to reception to ask for towels to use by the pool. Breakfast is a choice of 3 options that are nice but limited. Also one day we were not allowed to have breakfast at the Riverside location as there was a wedding. I understand hotels have functions and weddings but it would be nice if we were told beforehand.
