Exceptional
Thipurai Annex Hotel is my favorite hotel in Huahin. It is right in the center of Huahin in Soi Huahin 67, a few steps walk to the beach. Tops Daily, 7-Eleven are nearby, and Huahin Market Village is just across the street. Close to everything.
The room is spacious and quiet, very relaxing. It is fully furnished with all amenities - TV, fast internet wifi, hair dryer, kettle, hot shower, etc. Big balcony with nice view of next door swimming pool. Bed is comfortable. Love it here!
We often come here for a long weekend holiday.
We like everything about Thipurai.

Wonderful
The owners are lovely people and they have a very good cook. Housekeeping does a good job and the building managers were very helpful with some minor maintenance items.
They have a pool but we didnt use because the beach, which is nice and clean, is only 2 minutes behind the building.
There is a nice mall with cheap food court 5 minutes' walk down the street and minimarts nearby.
For the money and location there may not be a better value in Hua Hin.
Avoid the laundry service. A receptionist told me 80 THB per kilo so I dropped off less than 2 kg of laundry. The next day when I picked up, a different receptionist gave me an itemized bill for 330 THB ($11 USD) I tried to explain what the first receptionist said but 2nd receptionist said I have to specify what kind of pricing I want when I drop it off even if there are no options on the placard they display on the front desk. Not a huge deal - there are several coin-operated self laundry shops nearby, which is what we did the rest of our stay.
Still a good stay overall and I recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Hua Hin.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
No elevator. I am very fit but 4 flights of stairs and no elevator is onerous. There was an overwhelming smell in the bathroom. Sewer is my suspicion.

Very close to the beach, Market Village, Night Market. Staff were okay.
It's an old property. My room had its air conditioning compressor unit sitting right outside the room's side window and every time it cycled on it filled the room with a loud noise that made sleep absolutely impossible. So, the first night I didn't use the AC. The next morning the staff moved me to the adjacent Thipurai Beach Hotel (same ownership) which was much nicer.
As part of my online booking I chose the breakfast included option. Big mistake. The breakfast buffet was not at all appetizing in my opinion. However, if you want the buffet choose the breakfast NOT included option when booking online because you can purchase it daily for cash for less than you'll be charged by the hotel through the online platform. This is what happened to me. I spoke on the phone with the owner about this and he refused to make any price adjustment.

Very friendly staff, a clean and comfortable room with a nice balcony, and right near the beach. Market Village is a 10-minute walk away with tons of eating options especially the amazing food court on the bottom floor. Recommend this hotel!

Large room, friendly staff, comfortable, excellent location and budget friendly. It was great to have a balcony and swimming pool. As a solo traveler, the room was very spacious but would equally be large enough for a couple.

Excellent location on a very quiet side street--only a 3 minute stroll to the main beach, and 7 or 8 minute stroll to Market Village. It's a small older hotel but well maintained, and as in many older hotels, the room size is generous, with a very spacious bathroom...good water pressure and temperature control. Welcoming and friendly staff.

Rooms are good, location pretty central. Pool was ok also. Lots of amenities nearby.
Staff, I dare not tell you the whole story but after three serious underhanded incidences in two days (day 2 & day 3 of stay) I told them they could keep the money for the full stay and we were checking out and going to another hotel.
The manageress arrived to our Room to find us packing our bags. She apologised for the multitude indiscretions of her staff members and I agreed to stay once I got the actual issues written on headed paper from her and that no attempt to extort money from us would occur at any stage.
The actual events were not recorded by the manageress correctly either. The letter was written in a legal framework which stated we were at fault but they would not charge for damages supposedly occurred. I went to find the manageress but she was not available. The letter subsequently disappeared from our room on that day!!!
Day 5, early evening asked for coffee or tea sachets and told they were not available! Coffee could not be ordered from restaurant at 9pm either.
Staff smiled but completely unhelpful & unhappy, smiling assassins.
Hence we never had breakfast there as we did not know or trust what could be served. We happily found numerous other hotels to have breakfast in. Fantastic Vietnamese hotel just down the road.
In hindsight, we should have left and gone to the other hotel. I’ll never make the same mistake again.

the only good here is Sia the lobby chef and the closeness to the beach and a shopping mall.
well, narrow stairs, no elevator. no coffee nor tea bit a waterheater - to drink plain hot water it seems. bed sheets dirty and old and weird since those are no covers but plain white sheets wrapped around a cheap, old and dirty blue fleece. touilet strong smell. tv and fridge from 100 years ago and extremely loud, better pull off. aircondition is changing modes during night even so it was set manual ...very loud. the matress is made from two mattresses and one of them is completely sunken inn and since they have metal speings inside, it makes noise.
it seems the owner does not want to spend a dollar for reinvestment since all is wore down, dirty and broken. you will find better hotels close for a cheaper price. this owner does not deserve business luck because the price-quality ratio was the poorest i experienced in 8 hotels in Thailand so far. WORST!

Close to beach, large shopping market, transport. Daily happy hour drinks. Very polite and friendly staff.
Easy to get to almost any local destination for small cost on the nearby main road. Plenty of food choices nearby as well as in-house. Self-serve laundry within 100 metres. Currency exchange just on the corner. Daily morning swim and walk on the beach. Large room.

Great location. The young lady at the desk was extremely nice. Swimming pool is pretty big. Clean rooms. Had a small balcony to hang wet clothes. Room was pretty big.
Rooms are pretty old. The fridge was loud. The flat tv wasn’t flat at all (I never used it). There’s no conveniently located plugs.
