Location to train station is perfect. Outdoor pool is large, has a good deep end you can get your exercise and cool down. Complimentary morning coffee in lobby. We booked last minute/same day and secured our room for $ 50 Canadian. Shower is good with hot water and pressure.
Beds are very cheap and worn. This may have been a good hotel at one point but it is very worn down and updates, if any, were done many years ago. No shower curtain or safe. No pool towels. Fridge was smelly. Poor lighting (no table lamp). This is also a long stay hotel with people living there full time. There was lots of late night noise that I believe came from the permanent residents.

Large room.
Advertised as WIFI in rooms. I had no WIFI in my room for three day's. Still not working when I left. On occasion there where 8 or 9 guests in reception using the staff WIFI. So I was not the only one with the problem. Staff always said it's being fixed but it never was.

Quiet location not far from centre. Soft and comfortable bed. Accommodating staff.
Hotel is now a little bit dated and showing signs of wear. For a coffee fancier, only instant coffee on offer.

Not sure how often the pool is cleaned. After swimming in the pool several times daily, my wife and I got some kind of skin rash. Nonetheless, great place and we'll be back but probably not going to use the pool. Pool also has some broken tiles that we both cut ourselves on.

Location was great. Bed was comfortable and the Aircon worked just fine.
It’s very old and tired. Pool hurt our eyes, maybe too much chlorine. Shower was just terrible. I like to have a warm shower, even though it was hot outside. Was impossible, either boiling hot or cold. It was a mixer tap but I don’t know how it’s plumbed as I couldn’t get the temperature even close to mild.

I have stayed at this hotel 6 times. Since Covid 19, I have seen the hotel decline. The rooms need updating. The swimming pool, is half the size, it used to be. Will not be staying again.
