Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous heritage stye, truly stunning. The staff were so kind, efficient and attentive. I loved the pool and the overall facilities. Also fantastic spa, highly recommend!
Would prefer being able to order dinner from the restaurant and having room service options. Less of a big deal if traveliing for fun, but when on a business trip, this is an important option.

We absolutely LOVED this beautiful gem of a hotel nestled in a fantastic location in Chiang Mai. The food was excellent, the setting was peaceful and serene, and the staff was SO friendly and helpful. This was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in during our Thailand adventure. I highly recommend.

I am not sure how I initially found out about Ping Nakara Hotel but I am so happy I did. My friend and I had the best time staying here. Our room was very large and comfortable; the pool is lovely and was amazing for a cold dip on a hot day; and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They have a van and then two really cool antique cars they will drive you to the center of town in. The breakfast was great, and included items you could order like eggs or french toast, and also a buffet of beautiful fruits, pastries, cheese, etc. The hotel provides water, juice and snacks in your room, as well as some treats in a parlor off the lobby. We spontaneously hired a guide, Noom, who happened to be at the hotel one morning. He spent several hours with us and was really really great. Ping Nakara made our time in Chiang Mai so wonderful and we truly felt like special guests. I highly recommend!

A very beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable mattress. It was nice to have a private balcony. The pool is clean and the open area outside the cafe and the sit-out near the library bar is green and peaceful. The bartender was very accommodating, allowing us to bring our own champagne and snacks for a 60th birthday celebration. They arranged a small cake on the house. The car service for nearby locations is a great service. All the staff are very polite in true Thai style, and are ready to go out of their way to help.
The fridge and tea/coffee were cumbersome to access as they were inside the wardrobe and the luggage rack prevented easy access. Room service is only available until 4 pm and the restaurant menu is quite limited and the same as the room service menu. This was a problem only because my spouse was very ill on our last day and room service would have been convenient.

Small hotel with personal attention to details. Kind and helpful staff. Beautiful facilities. Close to city attractions but off the beaten track a bit and quiet. Breakfast was very nice: good balance of Thai and Western choices.

Beautiful property, great rooms, amazing pool and courtyard, and very friendly staff. They greet you with a cold towel and Roselle juice. They have a car that will drive you to Old City. Breakfast and coffee was delicious.

As I said in my previous review – this hotel is amazing! When we realised that we hadn’t booked enough nights, the staff was very accommodating and it was no problem to book a further two nights. Please read my previous review which talks about how friendly staff are and how they go out of their way to assist in any way possible. What I forgot to say in my previous review is how the staff kept giving us presents. We certainly have great memories of our visit to the Ping Nakara.

What a fabulous hotel! After a not so good experience in Bangkok, we were so relieved to walk into the friendly and welcoming Ping Nakara lobby. I was so overcome with emotion to, not only have such a warm welcome, but staff went out of their way to help us take our bags to our room and to help us during our stay in each and every way. The room itself was very comfortable and had all the necessary things to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It was great being able to sit out on our little verandah overlooking the trees and watching the squirrels run up and down the branches in the morning. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was absolutely amazing – the pressure was so good that it was a massage in itself. The breakfast was delicious and we were able to sit looking out to the pool or with greenery around us. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again for my next stay in Chiang Mai.

Unfailingly wonderful service from manager and staff. Everyone on the staff speaks good English, and they are flexible and helpful. I was there for two weeks, and when I sent out my laundry to a service, it was typically delivered when I wasn’t present. Problem? Not at all. They not only accepted it, they paid the laundry bill for me, and i reimbursed. I needed to buy flowers for a friend. They of course could help me with that. Staff selection and training obviously excellent. Breakfast also first-rate. Buffet of pastries and Thai fruit, with hot dishes, both Thai and Western, available to order. Breakfast is outdoors, and overlooks the pool (gorgeous). The beautiful British colonial architecture engenders, for me at least, a slightly nostalgic atmosphere of an earlier and much different time. Location is excellent. A bit removed from the chaotic Night Market area, but close enough to make all Chiang Mai attractions easily accessible.
No complaints at all.

Beautiful boutique hotel - loads of charm, large comfortable rooms & nice sized pool. Easy walk to the night market and great to be driven in a vintage car to the old town on demand. The staff were super kind and helpful. Couldn’t have had a better stay in Chang Mai.
