Friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and lovely atmosphere. It was located within walking distance to most things worth seeing in Lome so easy to get around, and they were very helpful with finding airport transport both ways.
The bed and pillows were quite hard (at least for me) and it was quite bright in the room at night with the light from the TV (so bring a mask if light bothers you).

Disappointing
The location in the centre of the city is excellent.
The lady who served breakfast was friendly.
The hotel has a very interesting and atmospheric central courtyard area.
The rooms are fairly spacious and tidy.
The mattress was very hard and I woke up with back pain both mornings.
Clothes were taken from my room which I agreed to be washed when shown. Due to the weather the clothes never dried and thus I was given back a bag of wet clothes. Upon checking at my next destination some items were missing (5-10 pieces).
Money went missing from a hidden wallet within my bag when left in the hotels company (though I cannot prove when or where that happened).
The price of the hotel is very high (European price) and that doesn’t include another extra for breakfast.
The owner seemed to be in a very bad mood (shouting and swearing in front of me) and considering I was the only or one of the only staying (the hotel was closed when I went to collect my bag) I’m guessing that there are some business or personal problems.
Nothing is life or death but when you are the only guest you expect slightly more attention to detail rather than feel like you are not welcome.

Good breakfast, strong coffee, pretty patio (all rooms face into a central, private courtyard), good hot water, A/C, and in-room fridge.
Housekeeping was lovely. Laundry is included, which was so nice. My room was quite comfortable. The hotel is quite secure and well located.
The wifi was a bit spotty at times, but there were several routers so I was able to find connections as needed. (I unfortunately had a work meeting so this was important.)

Placement.
Also, it was clear it use to a great charming place - a hidden gem.
Absolutely the worst thing was how much and how long there have been and still are smoked in all places including the restaurant. In addition there is continued sprayed with some bad smelling stuff to remove the smell of smoke - double bad!!!
Secondly, it used to be a special place, but for too long it has not been kept up to date and is now clearly rundown.
