Central location, peaceful and green courtyard, friendly staff, great coffee at breakfast (choose bet options such as pancakes, pupusas, omelet, tipico) with indoor & outdoor seating options. Decent sized room with amenities such as air con, mini-fridge, toiletries, hangers, desk, chair, hooks. Good water pressure in shower. Comfy bed
Upon entry, found several hairs on the bathroom floor. Poor insulation, I could hear my neighbor talking and then snoring at night. The neighbors in the adjacent rooms were more of a problem than the traffic outside.

Villa Serena Escalon provides great value in a safe, residential San Salvador neighborhood. The hotel facilities are average. This is a solid option if you are looking for basic services in the area. Breakfast is delicious, and it's prepared by loving grannies ( make sure to tip them).
Thin walls allow excessive noise from the outside. I was awaken early next morning by people yelling in the hallway.
