Wonderful
Really nice clean apartment Fantastic pool and outdoor seating area ( which also has the bonus of ceiling fans ) Brilliant location close to shops , bars and restaurants including kfc and Pizza Hut Nice and quite Washing machines available for use Staff were really friendly and helpful
The bed was a little hard ( for my personal preference) Would be nice if it had a toaster

The location was very central to my daily destination. The onsite staff was very friendly and my host checked up on me right up to check in. Which was very simple as the keys were left on property for easy pick up. My stay in the city was short but the amenities were value for money.

Wow, what a convenient location. This apartment was perfect for a short or a long stay. Having the kitchenette to fix breakfast was wonderful. The ladies that cleaned the rooms were so kind and did such a wonderful job. The pool was so refreshing in the afternoon. Ms. Durgas who gave us the keys was the sweetest lady and really helped us out when we were struggling with currency conversion...i.e. our debit cards only working at certain ATM's. I would recommend Amalia Apartments to my closest friends.

This was the perfect home in Paramaribo. I couldn't have asked for better. On the first night we had issues with the ATM and the manager even insisted on loaning us SRD so that we could get dinner, our first night. We were able to do laundry, had a lovely kitchenette for cooking breakfast and they even have luggage storage if you want to leave it when you go on a jungle tour.

Secure and quiet which was the main things I needed. I had a rental car which helped. The pool looked fine but I didn’t use it. Good Korean and Chinese restaurants within 10 mins walk.
Somehow I expected the room to be nicer and less gloomy, but it did the job.

Spatious and friendly staff.
We slept in room 3. There were some mini cockroaches in the kitchen area. Although the cleaning lady came and sprayed some chemicals, we still saw them on the next day. We suspect that they live in the pipes or under the cabinets. We spent 6 nights here and we only manage to use the pool once at 6am in the morning because there were always big families occupying the communal space and swimming pool. There is nothing the owner can do about it but it’s a shame. I would say if you go for value for money, then book this apartment. If you go for the pool, ask in advance if big families are staying here.
