The host was very kind and helpful.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe and there are several supermarkets around.
An extra is the home taxi service offered by the host.
It was a pleasant stay and it was pity full that I could not stay any longer ?

One is welcomed by a most warm and friendly host!
The Studio is surrounded by plants & flowers, in a quiet neighborhood and everything one needs to cook, to chill, to spent time by yourself and if you de have to go for shopping there are supermarkets & restaurants close by. (if you have a car)
It is home away from home!! as Patricia, the host calls it, ¨een warm nestje¨!!
For me nothing, I was Quite content!!
Mosquitos are a nuisance, in Surinam, nobody can prevent that; so maybe if guests check in the incense that was in studio can be burned before arrival.

Wonderful apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood outside the city center. The apartment is VERY clean and has everything you need, including a fully equipped kitchen for cooking meals (you will need to bring your own bath towels and dish soap). Patricia is a great host who speaks Dutch and English and is very helpful. She lives in the house at the front of the property...available if you need her, but she respects your privacy. If you don't have your own vehicle, you will need to walk 20 minutes to a road to catch a bus to the center (or call a taxi service to pick you up --- about 160 SRD). The nearest grocery store is about a 15 minute walk . Good value for the price. Highly recommended.
When reserving through Booking.com, check your settings to be sure you book with a currency you have on hand. We expected to pay with Surinamese dollars, but since our Booking.com app was set to US dollars, our host required us to pay with US dollars. We were fortunate that we had enough USD to pay her.
