It was the second stay and it was as good as the first one. Very good and clean room, good choice of food for breakfast. No drawbacks at all, definitely 10 out of 10

Nice quiet area filled with historic mansions, walking distance to center, attractive hotel.
As usual in Slovakia, minimalist bathroom without much for toiletries or shower shelving.

Nice hotel that is well-maintained, in an area full of city mansions about a 10-minute walk from the old city. Attractive breakfast area and lounge.
The usual European bathroom problems with a half-covered shower, no washcloth, and minimal toiletries, plus two twin beds with two duvets and no cover sheet. But unfortunately you don't get past all that unless you book a non-European chain hotel. By local standards it's great.

Even though a bit of a hike from the city center, the location is very nice. Clean and spacious room, friendly staff.
You could hear a pin drop through the walls. We were woken up in the morning by guests attending the breakfast on the floor below and in the night we could hear people talking from the other rooms, word by word.

Pleasant
A very compact hotel in a quiet neighborhood with spacious rooms. The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful.
A little far from the main tourist areas and as it is uphill, required cabs to get around.

The breakfast lady was very helpful and willing to let me start a little early one morning. I was expecting a 7am pickup for a 12+ hour tour. So, I was very happy when the receptionist checked if I could start early and both agreed. :) She advised me that the eggs weren't ready, but I was able to start on the other items.
She was also very helpful and friendly the other mornings as well. I also liked how she helped an elderly fellow with a cane to carry his coffee to his table for him.
I am not a fan of the key with the big metal plates on them, but it’s the system that they have.

The hotel was within walking distance for me to the historic city centre, and the room was good. The bad was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and it was nice to see an electrical hot pot and a mini fridge in the room. There's also a Tesco Express supermarket not far from the hotel.
When the cleaning staff left balcony door to my room open to get fresh air in, which was a good idea, a lot of bugs came into the room. So, I had to ask the staff to keep my balcony door closed after cleaning the room, which they made sure to do.

Room is clean, huge and comfortable. The reception is helpful with my queries. Breakfast has many options and cook was very accommodating.
Location is kinda walking distance and no bidet.

It is not too far from the old town and the area the hotel is located was peaceful and nice. The room is large enough and the bed sheets were clean.
It can't be a 4 star hotel, maybe a 2 star. Most things seemed old and not very well maintained. Please be aware that the parking fee is 18 euro, which I think is a bit too much, but there are not too many places you can leave your car parked outside. Also the city tax is 3.5 EURO / person.

Clean hotel. The breakfast courtyard was nice. The staff were friendly.
There were no elevators to the room with twin beds.
We took public transportation to get to the hotel. We had to walk up and down the hill to get to the hotel with our luggage.

Wonderful
Super clean, a real hotel with private bathrooms and the largest bath tub ever. The neighborhood was quiet and safe.
It is a bit of a hike uphill so a cab ride would make it more accessible.

Such a lovely apartment, it had everything one would expect, including a small garden and a cute hedgehog running around. Excellent front desk staff. Well worth the money paid.

The reception staff were fantastic. Very friendly and provided great info on tour attractions and restaurants. Great selection for breakfast. Nice quiet hotel.
Hotel is about 10 minutes uphill from old town. Not too bad of a walk though if you don’t have any mobility issues. I didn’t dislike it, I just wanted to let future guests know.

We were upgraded to an apartment that was beyond amazing. It had two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and dining room and even a private yard area. It was decorated with antique furniture, but had all the modern conveniences. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer!
In addition, the staff was fantastic and the on-sight parking in a parking garage was very convenient.
