Wonderful
The hotel rooms were comfortable and clean. My room needed a bit of paint touch up. The breakfast was divine and sumptuous. The spa facilities were very nice too. Staff at the reception were very helpful and kind.
I visited the spa and had a health problem while there. No one was there to assist. Thankfully I had family to help.

Fabulous hotel! Loved the location, on the edge of the Old Town, quite easy to walk there.
The lobby and reception area is quite large and modern, with a nice bar and a great breakfast area - super breakfast with a multitude of choices and delicious coffee.
The room was a nice size, with a great comfortable bed. Bathroom was a good size too, all functional. My room had no view per my request - it looked over a small courtyard which was therefore very quiet - a delight!
The staff were all very pleasant and polite, ready to help.
Alas, there was temporary construction (road) work going on in front of the hotel. It was quite noisy and dusty, but did not disturb me much as my room as so quiet. Just passing by the work was not pleasant, but this work should be over by now.

Location is great, staff is helpful, overall it's a nice hotel.
Curtains are not black-out, so it get's bright in the room early in the morning. Wifi connection unstable. Body wash had a strong irritating smell.

The staff were so welcoming and quite friendly. They answered everything question we had even before we got there. It was clean, offered amazing breakfast, and right in the city center. It is walkable to majority of the popular sites. They also have an amazing spa that really gave me some time to reset.

The rooms were basic, but new (nothing exceptional ). The hotel is near a noisy highway so male sure to book a room either on higher floors. A beautiful view from the hotel and exceptional comfortable pillows and bed. Its a good hotel for having some rest after a flight
No kettles in the room, there is a coffee machine tho. there is a construction in front of the hotel ( so expect it to be noisy in the mornings). If your main purpose is the old town, know before booking that there is an outdated old underground which you should take in order to wall to the old town. Not sure how safe it is, I hope it is. I asked in the reception to give a quite room, the young guy gave me a room on the highest floor from which there is a terrace to the rooftop bar :)))) You literally could open your door and directly walk to the bar. So not quite sure whether he was just confused or didn't know about it, but he changed it for me afterwards. When I asked him to change at first he told its open until 11 PM :))))) Also when I asked him to ask the stuff to put the beds together he told me at first that I can do it by myself :)))) but then he send someone to fix it for me :)))) Overall, I expected a bit better service for this price

THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT. The local was perfect, the hotel has a beautiful lobby that makes wonderful drinks. I did not have the breakfast, only because the hotel-level cost, but it definitely LOOKED amazing. The room was absolutely fine for our stay, has everything you need. The spa was nice to have too. Everyone was super friendly and helpful - especially the girl with the red hair (I cannot remember her name) but she was SO enthusiastic, you can tell she really enjoys her job and enjoys helping out tourists like me.
THE ONLY THING I DID NOT LIKE, WAS THE PILLOWS... hahaha. The pillow menu was cute and all, but the pillows were tiny and small and did not support my head

We were traveling with our small dog and were delighted to find an extra blanket, water bowls, and food prepared in our room — a very thoughtful touch and excellent service.
The breakfast buffet was extraordinary, with a great selection and very high quality. The hotel’s location is also perfect for exploring this vibrant city on foot.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.
The check-in process was fast and efficient. The only thing I did not particularly like was having to fill out the registration form with all my personal details myself. At a hotel of this level, I would expect this service to be handled by the staff. Fortunately, this only has to be done the first time you stay at a Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences property.

Just outside the old city with walkway under main road about 4 meters from hotel door. Easy to walk to restaurants and castle. Great atmosphere, staff and breakfast
