Location is great.
When I entered the room for the first time, there was hair in the tub, a wet towel, and used rolls of toilet paper. Unidentified smell in the room. Windows that can not be properly opened or closed. Uncomfortable bed. Squeaky parquet floor. Bad sound isolation. The coldest room I have ever been in. I needed to sleep covered with my jacket. The lighting was bad. There is nothing positive I could say about the room. It shouldn't be booked and offered to guests. No value for money. I have no words to describe how bad this experience was.
During breakfast, be prepared to eat food covered in layers of disinfectant, which is constantly sprayed around food that is not properly protected. I must say that staff members who serve breakfast are kind and polite. It is the only positive thing I can say.

Friendly behavior, Speak English well, Helpful, Cleanliness, Breakfast, Close public transportation access, Shops near by. Bratislava Castle can be view from the hotel. Everything is in walking distance. Very safe place and safe neighborhood. This hotel staff and their service is best ?. I would love to book my room here again. Thank you guys.

This is a smart, comfortable hotel located pretty centrally in Bratislava. The staff were attentive on arrival, and offered a free glass of wine. The room was nicely appointed, with a comfy bed and excellent shower. I had told the staff I had to leave early due to catching a coach before 6am and without asking they prepared a packed breakfast of fruit and biscuits to take with me. I unfortunately left my jacket in the hotel and they have been nothing but helpful in arranging to return this to me.
I can't suggest an improvement anywhere; definitely somewhere I'd recommend and would stay again.

The girls at the Reception were very kind and willing to help.
No idea why this hotel has 4 stars, when even 2 are too much. Tiny rooms with even tinier beds. Old soviet style, worn-out and dirty-looking furniture. No disposable slippers, noisy, stuffy and musty.

The room was so cold that an extra electric heater had to be brought by the staff. The bathroom was dirty, the bathtub had permanent stains, and the toilet was unstable. We were informed that the upper floors are “four-star” while the lower floors are “three-star.” An interesting concept — a hotel with floor-based star ratings.

I like the position of the hotel, its very close to the centre.
Stuff on the reception was not even friendly. I felt like I am bothering them. Not even hello or good morning or anything. I felt like intruder really. But the cleaning lady was very kind and helpful.

The Danubia Gate hotel was a short walk to the heart of the old town of Bratislava. Having parking was a great feature for this area. Breakfast had lots of options, and room was clean, updated and had a very good shower.
We returned from an early dinner (between 6:30 &7). The exterior of the hotel was not illuminated and doors were locked. We had to buzz the desk attendant for entry and she seemed very annoyed to be interrupted.

Danubia Gate hotel, is a small hotel in town. Hotel staff could be more friendly and informed about the parking spaces ( if you travel with bigger car then normal )that the parking spaces in front of the hotel are with pay,so no need to search for parking ☺️,you just need to walk 50 m and pay at the parking automat. The breakfast is in the lobby wich is a small space. Rooms are ok, need some renovation but are clean. Minibar quite nice.
Room needed renovation, the paint was peeled off from the wall. No slippers ( which is not nice for a 4 star hotel). Towels are really old?
