Maja is an absolutely fantastic host. She was so warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the city. The location is perfect, and I loved the room and view. Maja even helped us get some reservations around the city, and gave wonderful recommendations during our stay. Maja is the best!

The apartment was in a good location in the middle of the old town, with a balcony and a view of the sea and beautiful historic buildings. Part of the apartment is built on the original city wall. The host was wonderful with a wealth of information about the town and things to see. The apartment was very clean with a nice little kitchen where we kept food for breakfast.
I am 185 cm tall, and the beautiful old bed was a little short for me, forcing me to sleep on an angle across the bed.

The location is one of the best in Piran. And our host and local knowledge was priceless. We were even treated to an amazing guided tour that ended at a fantastic seafood restaurant.

Wonderful
It was lovely to meet Maja and hear so many interesting stories. She was very helpful with ideas for what to do during our stay. The room had a wonderful sea view and was close to the town centre as well.

L'emplacement
It's and old house, with old furniture. So, we need to take care of it, which is not easy to do at the beach. The hostess put messages all around the house so we wouldn't forget to close the windows, nor put wet clothes / glasses over the furniture, what is ok but at the same time make us very uncomfortable. Not a place to go with children, nor if you are a distracted person.
If you are a tall person, the bed is too short for people bigger than 1,80m.
Maja was very helpful letting us the key and helping us by phone since she wasn't there when we get in the apartement.
Nevertheless, when we meet her the next morning, she made us very uncomfortable doing an inquiry about our trip and judging the fact that we did lots of kilometers by train. She allowed herself to criticize us, stating that we were too eco-friendly to take the train and that we "messed up" our trip by not driving everywhere. She recorded all of our answers because she's creating a book. We weren't asked for permission, and it looked like we had no option but to answer her inquiry.

First of all, Maja is a wonderful person! the atmosphere of her house is unforgettable. From the window of the room is a wonderful view of the sea…the beach is 5 meters from the house. I love this place and we will definitely come back!

Fantastic location. Couldn't be better in Piran.

Bring swimwear as there is a beach on each side of the peninsula.

Amazing location at the point of Piran. Wonderful balcony where we ate breakfast and lunch most days and swam within a minutes walk from the apartment. Maja could not have done more to accommodate us

Mayas location is absolutely outstanding, directly at the tip of the old city. If you can get room 2, you will have access to the balcony with a lovely view to the church and the sea. We had our breakfast there as well as dinners and drinks and one could see a lot of envious tourists looking up...

What a fantastic location! It was the perfect place—I only wish we could have stayed longer. Mama gave us great travel and eating advice, too.
