The location, the stile of the architecture, the staff
The bed - it was too firm for me. And to open the window i needed to climb. Repurposing a prison to a hostel is a good idea, but the execution was lacking in those 2 areas.

Great breakfast! Interesting rooms. Bathroom was clean, fun free concert one night. Close to bus stop. Staff was super nice.

Concept, breakfast, design. Cool underground floor that keeps the prison history in it. The beds are super comfy. Nice hangout place on the second floor
There were someone's nail clippings on one of our beds. The person who slept there was too tired to go and make a fuzz about it though. The ventilation in the bathroom is not the best.

The hostel is easily located from the train station. All of the staff are very friendly. Unique vibe to the place.
Shared bathroom but I did know that going in.It is a bit noisy at night.

The staff are always available and willing to help out. The room we had (although) small was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Parking was easy (after we figured out how to get in.) I was pleased that the hostel had a history of the buildings here. It is important to understand what has come before us even if the events of the past are hard to hear/read.

Very interesting experience, a lot of artists involved in the making of the hostel. They let me store my luggage and even gave me a packed breakfast when I left early for the day. Usable kitchen and fridge areas.
Beds a little cramped and close together in dorms, though understandable for the kinds of rooms they used to be!

The hostel is super modern and interesting, with a really cool vibe. The location is also great, close to the city center. Nice breakfast!
The beds are really close to each other, and it can be very noisy due to the music downstairs. Also, there was no toilet paper in the women’s bathroom while I was there.

The space is very clean, cozy, interesting and beautiful.The staff is super-friendly, fun and chill. As well, the location gives the ability to be close both to the city center and to the bus station (and Lidl!).
The cells are so cool and authentic I even was able to trick my brother I'm in a real prison, so 10 out of 10 for this one:)
1.The neighbourhood is ... Specific (every single time when you are even near the door to the hostel someone is going to ask you for money (?). Besides, it doesn't seem safe to walk around the 'creative' space with all due respect.
2. I really really liked the place, but it's a bit outrpiced as of me.
3. Also,be prepared that every day there are some gatherings and music until 10-11 pm so you won't get asleep earlier. This is more of a youth-parties place:)

I travel for months at a time since I work remotely and I can! So price, comfort and wifi are always the things I look to balance. Video for Wifi lagged a bit in the cell rooms on Floor 1 for my video calls but really not too bad. Lots of spaces to work from if you need, esp if you have noise cancelling headphones for normal cafe noise. Fun bands Tuesday and Thursday, breakfast is really nice and better than most hostel basic breakfast. The cell rooms are all different. The only downside is that our booking was more than the published price at the hostel, but we booked third party and we did seem to get one of the better rooms. You can store your luggage and laundry was 9 euro including soap. The people were not the most social staying there, mostly quiet friends and couples it seemed, but that was fine as I was not travelling alone and needed to focus working during my USA work hours.
It was a bit more expensive per person per night so we ended up staying 4 days and moving (pre planned) and the hostel is a little far from the center (really not too bad - 10 min to the river max). It was worth it honestly! We were sad to move!
