Great location, close to Hwy. Great interior design, large room, modern bathroom. Modern and electric blinds for the windows. Free Parking available .

We stayed here while traveling through Slovenia, and the location was exactly what we were looking for. The hotel is very close to the highway, making it easy to avoid the traffic in Ljubljana while still being just a short drive from the city.
The hotel is modern, clean, and very well maintained. The staff is young, friendly, always smiling, and speaks excellent English. Even the ladies serving breakfast were very welcoming and communicated perfectly.
A special thank you goes to Luka, who was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. We had been communicating with him through Booking.com for several weeks before our arrival, and he always replied promptly and kindly to all of our questions. That level of customer care is something we truly appreciate. Congratulations, Luka! You are an exceptional person, and you made our stay even more enjoyable.
The parking area is huge, easily accommodating more than 60 cars, probably even more. Parking was never an issue.
We stayed in Room 3005, on the second floor, overlooking the main road. The room was spotless, modern, and equipped with everything you would expect. It looked exactly like the photos on Booking.com—which, unfortunately, is not always the case with every hotel. Here, what you see is truly what you get.
The bathroom was spacious, beautiful, and very modern. Everything in the room felt new, stylish, and thoughtfully designed.
Breakfast was delicious and offered everything you would normally expect from a quality hotel: cold cuts, cheeses, fresh vegetables, yogurt, croissants, pastries, juices, coffee, tea, and more. One thing that really stood out to us was the selection of delicious jams, which were a lovely surprise.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and felt very comfortable throughout our visit. This is an excellent hotel for anyone traveling through Slovenia or looking for a convenient stop near the highway.

In the evening, we had dinner at the restaurant located within the hotel grounds. We're not sure if it belongs to the same company, but it is conveniently located in the hotel's courtyard. There, we met Nick, who was incredibly charming, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. He made us feel very welcome, and we genuinely enjoyed our conversations and shared laughs.
The only small disappointment came when we received the bill. Based on what we had ordered, we estimated it would be around €38, but the final bill came to €58. We were quite surprised, as our meal consisted of a beef soup, one pasta dish, and a lemonade. We paid €60, but from our perspective, the dinner felt quite expensive for what we had ordered.

We were genuinely happy to return to this wonderful hotel after our European road trip.
Compared to our first stay, we really have nothing new to add—everything was just as excellent as before.
The breakfast was once again fresh, varied, and delicious. The hotel continues to maintain a very high standard in every aspect.
Before leaving on our trip a week earlier, we had asked one of Luka's colleagues (who had just taken over his shift) if it would be possible to reserve the same room for our return. He kindly made a note in the system, and when we came back, we were delighted to find that Room 3005 had indeed been saved for us. It was just as we remembered it: spacious, spotless, comfortable, and with a pleasant view overlooking the parking area.
It was also a pleasure to see Luka again, along with the rest of the friendly team. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine hospitality are among the reasons we chose to return.
Of course, we had dinner once again at the restaurant located on the hotel grounds, and Nick was there to welcome us with his usual good humor and positive energy. This time, the bill matched exactly what we had expected. ? We joked that perhaps he had simply been very tired during our previous visit. It happens, and we certainly didn't hold it against him.
Returning to the same hotel after a week only confirmed our first impression. Excellent service, wonderful people, comfortable rooms, and a great location make this an ideal place to stay when traveling through Slovenia.
Thank you once again for your warm hospitality. We highly recommend G Design Hotel and will gladly return whenever our travels bring us back to Ljubljana.

The location is very convenient, close to the highway so you have a super easy access. We were so tired after a long drive that we were fast asleep shortly after we checked in. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely large room and a very good breakfast. Staff was helpful and attentive. Hotel is in the perfect location for travelers, easy access from the E61. Don't skip dinner in the associated restaurant next door, it was wonderful.

It is an amicable and problem-solving staff. The hotel is charming, clean, and quiet. There is one of the best restaurants next to the hotel. We had smiling staff with very relaxed sleep. Breakfast was of excellent quality, even for a continental breakfast. You can stay here for the Ljubljana program outside the city without any parking problems.
