AC in the room was not working , we informed staff thrice , they did nothing . One staff informed us there is no one available to look into the AC .
We spent three sleepless nights in the room with no AC and extreme heat.

Clean bed sheets and fresh towels, a comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep, Quiet location, ideal for rest, very convenient location — only a 5-minute walk to the city center, Close to the bus station, which is great for travelers.
The floor was not clean. No slippers were provided in the room, no wardrobe or proper space to store luggage and clothes, which was inconvenient. No breakfast included, the price felt too high considering it was only for accommodation without additional services

Location. And spacious room.
No wardrobe inside the room. The main problem was the hand shower was leaking and despite telling the reception in person, nothing was done. The night time receptionist was helpful but she could not get anyone .

The hotel is really nice. Our room was perfect for two people. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. The rooftop bar has the best coffee. We walked everywhere and took the bus. It's a 10 minute walk to the bus station.
Not a thing once we learned how to keep the water in the shower.

There is 24H/7 reception desk which is helpful. There is a bar, which is good to have. The location is very good
Although i had booked hotel breakfast (which is expensive), i could not get a coffee because i was leaving early. but coffee machines were there. There is no desk for work in some rooms. The parking slots are very expensive. The hotel staff is medium kind

I loved the big bed..And the mattress and pillows were very comfortable, so I had a fantastic sleep. Also the location is perfect.. 10 min walk to Stari Trg.. Many bistros, cafeteria and restaurants nearby. I would definitely come again in this hotel next time visiting Ljubljana ?
I just have a small complaint about the gym..The cable machine was out of order..and i was really looking forward to use it.. Since there aren't any other machines, only few dumbbells..Its very important for me to stick with my workout routine while on vacation too..But other than that I loved everything else about the hotel..The receptionists are also very nice and kind.

I really liked that it was Centrally Located near the Ljubljana Castle and the City Centre!
Unfortunately, the ONLY reason for the 1-STAR REVIEW is because of the absolute Nightmare & Horrifying Process it was to "CHECK-IN" into this IBIS HOTEL! I arrived at the Reception Desk at 05:15AM on Thursday, January 15, 2026 and did ENTER my assigned Room until 7:55AM...2 HOURS AND 40 MINUTES LATER OF 100% NON-SENSE, DOZENS OF UN-NECESSARY INTERRUPTIONS, FALSELY ACCUSED OF YELLING AT SECURITY GUARD [SG], REFUSAL OF THE SG TO IDENTIFY HIMSELF AS A SG, AND SG FORCED MY SON WHO WAS PATIENTLY AWAITING CLOSE TO 3 HOURS DUE TO THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT STAFF ON THE GROUND FLOOR FOYER OUTSIDE INTO THE FREEZING TEMPERATURES WHILE I WORKED PATIENTLY AND DILIGENTLY TO OBTAIN CLEAR ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS I RAISED TO THE RUDE, INCOMPETENT AND CONDESCENDING REPRESENTATIVES.
I have stayed at IBIS HOTELS in many locations throughout the World with an "EFFICIENT" CHECK-IN Time of approximately 10-15 minutes MAX, and HASSLE-FREE!
For ALL of these 100% valid reasons, I had NO FAIR ALTERNATIVE than to give this IBIS HOTEL property a 1-STAR REVIEW. PLUS I WILL NOT EVER RETURN TO THIS HOTEL BECAUSE THEY DEMONSTRATED, REPEATEDLY, THEY DO NOT VALUE ME AS A GUEST!!! THEY REFUSED TO ALLOW ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO ESCALATE THIS GREIVANCE TO THE PROPERTY GENERAL MANAGER NOR AREA MANAGER[S].
I even kindly requested the front counter manager to "Comp" me ONE [1] Breakfast Buffet as a GOODWILL GESTURE and she emphatically said NO! I even asked her for a complimentary croissant and she said HOPE!!!
On Friday evening 1/16/2025 I returned to the Property to retrieve my Suitcases and Personal belongings. I attempted to use the Men's Room and the SG quickly pursued me and advised me I could NOT use the Men's Restroom for even 1 second and I must quickly vacate the property. I complied with his COMMANDS as I did NOT to be attacked or berated any longer.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and pleasant. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city. The rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was outstanding. Hands down, Ibis is one of the best chains out there. Highly recommend!
