The staff at Vila Minka was extremely friendly and helpful! They made our 2 week stay really relaxing and enjoyable. We loved spending time in the nature surrounding the Vila, and got to know the neighborhood really well. Our room was perfect for cooking meals from home, and spacious enough to relax and enjoy the time there.

A gorgeous art filled oasis outside the city center. If you're looking for a unique stay, this is definitely it. Minka's villa is *filled* with amazing art. The place itself is just as stunning, an inner courtyard, breezy, and two levels (with a wheelchair lift). Our apartment was large, filled with light, and ample storage space. We also had a small kitchenette with basic cookware and such.
If you love to walk, the city center is about an hour's walk from the villa. Minka provided a great route that hugged the park and drop you right into the center.
For some reason, the shower wasn't very warm and my very tall fiance found the faucet awkward to work with :/

Amazing Villa - The impluvium is the central feature of the atrium, a large, open-roofed main hall in a Roman house (domus) around which the primary living rooms are built. This is a family business, and Nina (the owner) was not only professional, but absolutely amazing, warm, friendly, polite, and accommodating.She went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Fascinating Lady !

I travel a lot around the world and usually I don't like to criticize, but I would advise everyone to avoid this house and thus avoid rude behaviour from the manager. I was verbally attacked by the woman at the reception when I asked a simple question about how to warm up the room a little. Extremely unpleasant. She also gave me a room while the motel is under major renovation. I didn't sleep well because of the smell of the paint.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The apartment was exactly what we wanted. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to friends.
We couldn't take the owner's adorable dog home with us. Otherwise nothing :)

I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the Vila Minka. It was clean and pleasant, beautiful, simple, tasteful and very peaceful. A lovely location in a residential area. A lovely breakfast with anything you could want. This is a family business, and Nina was amazing, not only professional, but warm, friendly, polite, and accommodating. The grocery Mercato was only a short walk away, and it was a short drive from Ljubljana city and the airport as well. This was my first real get-away for myself, and I couldn't have chosen a better place for peace and warmth.
I can't wait to come back!
There was nothing about The Vila Minka that I could possibly complain about. There was nothing unpleasant or even slightly uncomfortable about it at all. It's the perfect place for people who want something tasteful, without being ostentatious or gaudy.

It was clean.
I came for the marathon. I asked the evening before to book a taxi for me. The landlady agreed to it. In the morning I was waiting for it and it didn’t show up. So I called the landlady, apparently she couldn’t get a taxi but she didn’t even bother to tell me.
Eventually she drove me but charged a lot.
