Location was great, a few minutes walk to the Kobarid Museum. There was limited parking out back. The elevator artwork is fun! This might be the only real "hotel" (not a guesthouse) in Kobarid?? Professionally run by a family. Everything was fine and clean and comfortable. Friendly desk staff.
Be aware there is no A/C, though it cools down at night and we didn't miss it at all. A small fridge in the room would have been great. Bathroom setup was a little awkward, but absolutely functional.

What stood out more than anything was the wonderful, helpful and friendly staff! Tea, Tanja at front desk were awesome, as was Nate in the restaurant. Dinner and service was phenomenal. Breakfast was nothing special, but several good choices for a start the day. I was traveling solo, so room was super small, but comfortable bed and nice little bathroom. No a/c but a fan provided worked very well. Location and free parking was the best.
Overall, a lovely experience and I would definitely stay there again on my return.
The bar/ restaurant across the street was a bit noisy. I like to have windows open for fresh air, especially in a small room. Not really possible because there were several loud talking people.

The best part of this hotel is front desk staff. They went out of their way to help us. I had a question about wineries in an area about 40 minutes away. The desk person didn't have any information, which was fair because it is not right in their region. But rather than dropping the matter, she did hours of web research and made me a list of wineries complete with phone numbers and addresses. I was blown away by her kindness and level of service.

Wonderful
We stayed here for only two nights. The hotel is very cozy and comfortable. Even the rooms are oriented to the main street, which is a quiet place. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. There is a restaurant for dinner directly in the hotel, but you can choose different ones nearby. We were very much satisfied and we can fully recommend this hotel. Thank you all the staff.

Wonderful
It was nice to find a comfortable hotel in the small town of Kobarid. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and quiet. Parking was easy.
Hotel was more like a business hotel than a cozy one, but not a deal breaker. Would stay there again. Hotel restaurant menu was specialized, like sashimi sea bass with melon, which wasn’t our style.

The location is great, right in the central square with easy access to restaurants. The front desk staff were very helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. They kindly put us in rooms on the quiet side of the hotel.
We had 2 waiters in the hotel restaurant. One, a young woman, was very nice. The young man was quite arrogant and the service was inconsistent.

The restaurant staff were friendly. The location was awesome.
The room was in the attic which was advertised as small. That was fine as there was only 2 of us. However, there was no airbor ventilation. There was an attic window, but you couldn't open it because it was raining. There was no fan or AC in August! The cleaning staff was rude and the front desk unhelpful.

Hotel is very well located right in the main square, with a nice (v small) balcony. The rooms were fine, if relatively simple (beds were very comfortable, which is probably a priority). Breakfast was nice.
The main thing to realise with the hotel is that its not air conditioned. There was a small desk-top fan provided, but it was totally inadequate, which made the nights very trying. Admittedly we did arrive in a period of exceptionally hot weather, but even in a 'normal' summer, it would be a bit unpleasant. Appreciate that retro-fitted air con would be a massive investment, but you even can get very effective electric floor fans these days which would be a huge improvement. And unlike every in the hotel we stayed in, there was no mini-fridge in the room, which again isn't a huge investment, but there was no way even to keep some water cold. So although the hotel was perfectly pleasant in many respects, it was relatively pricey given the more basic facilities, and we found plenty of other better equipped and better value hotels during our stay.

Breakfast was varied, nutricious and tasteful. Room with balcony. Very nice staff. Interior design obviously taken care of. Of course healthier to take the stairs, but in this hotel you should take the lift at least three times with your back to the doors!

Staff were nice
The room was boiling hot as had no air con, the toilet seat was hanging off, bugs on the carpet, and a paper clip holding the toilet roll holder together. No facilities in room and only one chair on the balcony with no view to speak of.
