Beautiful surroundings & scenery, nice hosts, we had a nice experience

I travel a lot for work, and this gives me the opportunity to take my family on a number of trips. I have stayed in places all over North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. So I can say with authority, that this place is INCREDIBLE. Don't pay attention to the photos, they do not do justice to the stunning views. Any direction you look, you will see a gorgeous panorama. Sort of like what you see in the opening of "The sound of music" but even more impressive. Milena is a wonderful host, providing the best hospitality that I have experienced from anyone anywhere. On arrival, she provided a present because we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The cottage has 3 different homemade schnapps and 4-6 jars of homemade tea with herbs sourced from her garden. Because we arrived on a national holiday, and no shops were open, she brought us milk, local cheese, bread, pasta, and tomato sauce. The kitchen already had coffee, so we were set for our stay. Then, on our last night, she and her daughter came over and brought us a traditional Slovenian dessert, homemade and delicious. I believe that ricotta in the dessert came from her husband's cows. Although booking.com says the cottage is in Kobarid, it is actually on top of a hill in the mountain town of Dreznica. It's a quiet town nestled in a beautiful valley, and only a short drive to Kobarid which is the base for a number of activities in the Soca River (one of the most beautiful rivers I have ever seen). We didn't explore restaurants in the region during our stay, but it looked like there were many with good food and wine. Aside from all this, the house was spotless, and the outdoor area has a wonderful picnic table, 2 anti-gravity lounge chairs, 2 hammocks, and a swing. What more could you ask for? My only regret is that we were only there for two nights. I could have stayed for a month.

We had a very warm welcome by all the family and we had everything to feel confortable. The surroundings are amazing and not so far from all the activities. One of the best nest between valley and mountain. :)

The house is wonderfull!! Very very clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, inclouding wine. It was a bit cold and the heating worked very well. The beds are very comfortable. The view from the house is breathtaking. It is just like be in a fairytale. The hostess is very nice, she waited to us and showed us everything and even maid us wonderfull cake. We highly recommend!!

Large house outside of a village in the mountains. Very quiet location. The best thing about the house is the amazing mountain views in all directions. You can enjoy the views from within the house of from its garden. The hosts are really great and helpful, they even brought us some home made food on one of the nights.

The host Milena was so welcoming when we arrived (after walking 25km from Bovec). She instanly made us feel at home & gave us a nice local liqueur to try & a basket of eggs for breakfast! The place is beautiful, the views are amazing & you can laze on a lounger, hammock or swing while taking in the amazing views. Milena has thought of everything that visitors might need, from slippers to footballs! I can't recommend this place enough. One of, if not, the nicest places I've ever stayed in years of travelling!

This is a house from a fairytale, very cosy and you have everything what you need or even more :). Well separated from everything, you can enjoy the amazing environment and relax, or if you would like to go for a hike then there are lots of options too. The surranding area is more then beautiful. The hosts are extremly friendly and kind. I loved that place and we would like to return :)

House is in a quiet rural area with beautiful scenery.

Milena and is an angel and staying at her home is a wonderful experience!!The home is charming and in a stunning location. The views in the photos are a great representation of this beautiful setting. The home is well equipped with everything you need. The superstar attractions of the location however are Milena and Roman, the owners. We were delayed in arriving originally by a couple of hours. I communicated with Milena through the app and she told me not to worry. Because of an un-announced road closure 50 miles away we had to retrace our steps and find another route that pushed arrival two more hours back to 11:30pm. Again Milena said not to worry. We pull in late to a small stop by the house and Milena and Roman are there in their car waiting for us. They brought us delicious food for breakfast and offered a night cap. When we went to our bedrooms she had left a positive note in our language on each of our pillows with a treat. This is just an example of Milena’s desire to make you feel like family in her home. I have never felt more at home while traveling. Thank you Milena and Roman!

Milena is an incredible host so kind, generous, easy to communicate with. She had fresh farm eggs for us and when I went to ask where I could get milk she gave me a liter of just milked milk!

The location is spectacular! After a full day exploring Triglav National Park it was wonderful coming to here to end our day.

Mrs Milena was the greatest host ever. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The house was spotless clean and had everything you need. Located on top of the village with really gorgeous views and greenery surrounding it. Same as the pictures seen, if not even better. If you like to unwind and have a great time then this is the place for you.
