We had an excellent stay at Appleby Apartments Kersnik in Bohinjska Bistrica! The apartment was spotlessly clean and located in a beautiful, peaceful area—right under the mountains, with a forest on one side and stunning views of Triglav and the surrounding valley.
A special thanks to our host, Jure, who made our stay truly memorable. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations for local attractions and activities. If you haven't planned everything yet, I highly suggest asking Jure—he really knows the area and is happy to help.
We stayed as a family with kids , and the apartment was perfect for us. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Bohinj area—especially those looking for the mix of nature, comfort, and a fantastic host.

Jure is a kind a welcoming host who takes pride in his job and the host satisfaction come first for him! Great apartment for the family!
That we only spend 3 nights here!
But if I had to mention something the bathrooms could do with some renovation.

Jure war extremely friendly, helpful and supportive. The house was in good shape, enough space for a large family and the neighborhood was relaxed. We got great recommendations for the area and some insider info. Great stay, definitely recommend.
The apartment has a nice big kitchen, but a toaster could maybe go a long way to help with making breakfast in the morning instead of using the full oven.

Great location- very scenic and quiet
Quite rustic- very dated interior with minimal amenities. Beds were horribly creaky, no comfortable place to sit and enjoy the view ☹️ and the worst part is that they charged way too much

The host was incredible, very responsive and helpful.
The apartment is great for a getaway trip.
The town is really small and calm, surrounding by amazing mountains.
We did a ski trip and it was only 25 min to the Vogel ski, also lake Bohinij only 10 min by car and near the apartment a nice river.

Great choice. The house and the apartment looks exactly as on the pictures. The owner is super kind and very helpful. We had some extra questions in regards to our stay in Bohinj (i.e. taxi booking, etc.) and he took multiple extra steps to help us. He was approachable, fast and helpful in the communication as well.
The view on Triglay from the balcony is simply amazing! :)

The host was supernice and helpful. Always ready to answer all our questions and give us many tips how to make the most of our trip. He offered to mail us our forgotten Kindle - such a great gesture ?. The apt location is great, nice and quiet street, a view of the Triglav mountain range on one side and a garden on the other. Several good restaurants and pizzerias within a few minute walk. Mountain paths start just at the end of the street.
