Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 656 feet from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station. Hotel Triglav Bled is located above Bled’s rowing center. The center of Bled is 0.9 mi away. It can be easily reached on foot by walking on the lakeside trail. All rooms and suites are comfortably equipped with many amenities, including air conditioning, and offer beautiful lake views. The hotel features the à la carte restaurant 1906 Bled with Slovene Nouvelle cuisine and one of Slovenia's top chefs, a piano bar, a wine cellar and a fireplace lounge. The Triglav Bled also has a modern spa center and can organize meetings for up to 70 people, weddings, anniversaries, business lunches and Slovenian culinary workshops. Originally opened in 1906, Hotel Triglav Bled is one of Bled’s historic hotels, shaped by more than a century of hospitality and sixteen years of continuous refinement. The hotel is set above Lake Bled’s rowing center, offering open views and a quieter position away from the busiest areas, while still within an easy walk along the lakeside trail to the town center. Bled Jezero train station is located just steps away. The hotel has 21 rooms and suites, all air-conditioned and designed for comfort and rest. Many rooms offer lake views, while others face the surroundings and provide a more affordable option for guests who prioritize location, atmosphere, and dining over views. Hotel Triglav is a boutique hotel with a heritage building. It is not a brand-new but well-maintained. Key points of Hotel Triglav are (1) Stunning view of Lake Bled — if you choose to stay here, you “MUST” pay for the lake view room. Otherwise, do not stay here. (2) Plentiful breakfast — the option of sausages is truly perfect. Homemade apple jam is also fantastic. (3) Free parking — instead of paying painful prices for overnight parking; staying at Triglav can save that money for glasses of wine.
Nevertheless, there was some (acceptable) drawbacks such as water pressure was moderate. It was neither bad nor perfect. Water temperature was also not stable. It may turn from freezing cold to boiling hot in a matter of second without touching anything. Be careful.

What a lovely hotel! My friend and I took a last minute overnight to Bled and found ourselves in this idyllic location. The view is great, the food is yummy, the staff were all professional and kind, and the Triglav massage was glorious (ask for Mitja).
I liked this about the hotel, actually, but this seems like a chill spot that isn’t really designed for obnoxious parties.

The breathtaking view was more than I could have imagined. I greatly enjoyed the restaurant, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The onsite pool and spa was an added bonus. I enjoyed every moment of my stay. Everyone was very generous with their English, which I greatly appreciated.
The timer on the lights in the hall (which are motion activated could be extended so they don't shut off on you while you are waiting on the elevator and such. I left for my flight before the front desk had arrived and I had trouble getting the door to open (but perhaps it was operator trouble.) Fortunately I was able to give my door code to the driver and he was able to open it for me from the outside.

The location was excellent and the facilities were clean. They have a great pool and sauna. The restaurant has excellent five star food. I booked at the last minute in the very height of tourist season so the only room I was able to get was 10 ft.². And it was very fine, very clean. The location is way high up on a hill so if you want to walk into town for dinner, although it is possible, it’s quite a haul climbing back up a huge hill and very far to walk. So taxis are necessary if you have not rented a car. Be warned that while the restaurant has an excellent view and is a high-quality restaurant, with amazing food, it is not a ‘typical’ restaurant where you can sit down and order whatever you want off the menu. It is a minimum 4 to 9 course fixed dinner menu. And quite expensive. Very nice for food aficionado’s, not the average tourist. They do not make that clear in their marketing materials. This is a very unique and special place and it’s obvious since they’ve been in business for over 100 years that they have a very fond and loyal clientele. A very special touch for a wonderful holiday experience.
I would suggest clearly explaining your restaurant’s fixed menu. I suggest making it clear to your guests what kind of restaurant it is and the quality of menu because it’s very far away for someone to be able to walk into town and try to make it back at night should they prefer different dining experience.

Views were stunning and loved all the historical aspects of the hotel. The food and wine was also phenomenal! I wish I had time to enjoy the spa, but it looked pretty nice.
Only complaint was the bed was very very firm. I’m used to pretty firm beds, but this was like sleeping on the ground firm.

This property is stunning! The whole building is very well kept and has so much charm, the room is beautiful, the place is dog friendly, and the staff was exceptionally wonderful! The amenities are great and parking was easy. Also, breakfast was fabulous!

From the moment you enter the hotel you are greeted by a wonderful kind staff who are more than happy to explain about the hotel, everything you are wondering about Bled or Slovenia in general. The entire ambiance is top quality, warm and welcoming. My room was very clean, bed is comfortable and the lake view is even better. Breakfast is included and it's very fresh, nice selection of traditional food.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Amazing hotel with incredible views over Lake Bled. The staff were all super friendly, the included breakfast was delicious and you could order as much as you wanted which is great. The spa area was clean and never too busy. Room was comfortable, warm and the balcony (I had a lakeside) was perfect for sitting and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The hotel was situated on the other side of the lake to most amenities but as I only had a small rucksack with me it wasn't a problem for me to arrive via bus into Bled and take the 30 minutes walk around the lake to the hotel. The hotel is next to one of the train stations so I'd recommend arriving by train or taxi if you have larger bags, but for me the walk meant I got to explore more of Bled than perhaps I would have if I were staying nearer to the main tourism area. Thank you v much to the hotel team, I hope to be back!

Close to train and lake bled activities and facilities. Excellent view. Comfortable and clean nostalgic (1906) vibe. Elegant food for dinner, solid breakfast of traditional offerings, fresh and local.

we did not have a view just a high window that we could open and it was great to get that cool air at night. the staff was really friendly. this hotel is on the opposite side of everything which means it was lovely and quiet. The walk into the center was lovely.
the beds were pretty stiff. they did give me an extra comforter to lay on and it helped.

This property is conveniently located close to Bled train station. Staff is very sincere to offer advice to international travelers. Meal is good & has wide selection, with good sauna & swimming pool usage.
The only downside is its location not close to town, for those who don’t drive a car. Nevertheless, it is not easy to get lost in Bled, given that it is a small town.
