Wonderful
We were very happy that our room was upgraded. The location is very peaceful, and we didn’t mind not being in the city centre of Bled. The rooms are very nice, just like in the photos. We also enjoyed the breakfast, as it was clear that many local foods were included.
There is always room for improvement. The Wi-Fi connection was not very good, and the cleanliness could be better in some areas - the carpet in the room was dirty, and the bathroom was not spotless. Some parts of the property also show signs of wear and tear.

Beautiful setting and location was great to use as home base to visit the rest of the country. Most of the staff were wonderful especially the waiters and bartenders
Only used.the room cleaning once and was disappointed at how minimum they did

The location, the atmosphere, the style, very special
The hotel lacks an outdoor space where you can sit and enjoy the nature around it. The breakfast is average plus, at dinner there is no selection of side dishes alongside the meat dishes, there is no drinking water except for a fee. Sometimes the dishes in the morning and evening are not hot enough.

Clean, sustainable (zere waste policy), friendly staff.
The hotel is located at the end of the village Ribno next to a forest, it's very quiet and calm.
You can also rent a bike nearby.
Great choices for the breakfast.
Free outdoor parking.
We booked dinner (as indicated by staff) but we found out when we arrived it was BBQ night, therefore the buffet menu was focused on BBQ options.
Lake Bled is 2+ km away.
No great view from the hotel, the trees block it.
A bit expensive, but the whole area seems to have crazy prices.

Ribno Alpine hotel is one of the first zero waste hotels in Slovenia. It's Alpine interior and amenities match the hotel's sustainability values. The use of wood in all surfaces makes it so warm and cozy.
The breakfast has a huge selection of local produce to start your day full of energy.
Parking is available within the hotel & glamping area

The location in the forest was absolutely perfect—peaceful and beautiful. We loved the warm, cozy atmosphere of the hotel, especially all the wood details that made it feel so natural and welcoming. The breakfast was also really good.

The poor, surly attitude from staff at Reception, bar & dining room. Uncomfortable bed & pillows. Noise in morning from Kitchen below.
