Great location from city center. Just a basic room to sleep in, nothing super fancy. You pay 15 euros for an assigned parking spot per night.

They make you pay the local taxes at the end and there is a long queue your check out. Expect to wait 20 minutes to check out

Clean, spacious hotel, walking distance to the lake, incredible breakfast buffet.
Minor point, but the place was overrun by cyclists on their bikes outside reception, making it difficult to take bags up to the parking deck (just shows a popular place).

Excellent location close to the lake, but also set back from the hustle and bustle. I had an excellent view of Bled castle from my balcony! It was nice to sit out there after a day at the lake!
The bathroom had a smidge of a stagnant scent that went away when water started flowing, nothing major.
My room was a half floor up so despite their being a lift I had to carry my large suitcase up a half flight of stairs.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was terrific. Beds were comfortable. AC worked great. Terrace a nice addition. Parking assigned. Quick walk to Bled lake.
Outdated. Glue down carpet looked like it needed a good deep clean.

The location was great, probably one of the best views of the lake from the hotel, short walk to many shops and restaurants along with a short walk to Straža Bled.
The breakfast was ok, but nothing to rave about.

I stayed at Hotel Kompas for one night in July 2026 and, unfortunately, my experience did not justify the price paid.
The staff were polite but came across as cold and impersonal throughout my stay.
The hotel facilities also felt dated. The gym is very small, with only two treadmills and limited equipment, and the sauna did not appear to be particularly well maintained.
Breakfast was basic, while dinner offered very limited choices. I was also surprised that even tap water was charged for during dinner, which felt unnecessarily disappointing given the overall price of the stay.

The views from the patio were great. The rooms were a good size.
The pool was not as it looked in the photos. It was small and the heat inside was almost unbearable in the summer. The a/c was not strong enough in the rooms. It took a full day to get the room temp down. The included dinner and breakfast was not good. I would skip it. There are enough cafes around to get a decent meal. The dining room they have for the included half board is in the lower floor with a view of the parking lot and garbage cans. The nicer dining room that you order from the menu is the one that looks out to the lake. Also the spa was not operating. So no massages etc.

Excellent location, Amazing reception staff. Gave us very good recommendations and spent time talking to us about what we wanted to do and based their recommendations on that. Breakfast was very good both days we stayed.
The pool area is very hot. If you are sitting outside the pool, it was stuffy

The room I stayed in was like a suite, and I was quite pleased with it. There is a little table with coffee, kettle and so on, then a space which is like a living room. Next room was the bedroom with a bathroom. There was a balcony accessible from the living room. I enjoyed sitting in the balcony watching the sun go down over the lake. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices.
There werent anything that I found issues with.

Great location.
It was late May and they hadn't turned on air conditioning. It was like an oven in the room. Their solution was a portable air cooler that woke us up in the middle of the night with a loud noise.
The swimming pool is shallow - can't do laps there.
They have the gall to add a "property charge" when pretty much everything is sub-par.
E20 a day for parking!

The food was wonderful, the staff were helpful, the location is superb; and there were many great amenities and cleanliness throughout the rooms and the hotel!
MAy have been nice if the air conditioner was allowed to be on since it was close to 30 degrees some days during our stay.

A very typical group tourist hotel meant for corporate events. Modern look. Rooms were very small, no sitting area except a balcony with a wooden fence on top of the railing to block your view.
Bathroom was extremely small with a shower so small and hard to turn around. A handheld shower device that would not stay in a fixed position, so it kept falling down and spraying water everywhere. Towels were terrible. Bath products were disgusting in color....fixed to the wall, who knows what they were.
