Location and the apartment is comfortable
At breakfast table we found cockroaches and the reception staff in mrng no one there to response in morning and noon time we told to assist luggage when check out as we told prior we have kid but no one assist afterwards with lost of request one staff came on ground to help

Bencoolen is easily one of the best places to stay for tourists in Singapore. Very walkable, well-connected, stroller-friendly and centrally located. The hotel itself is amazing. Spacious, well laid-out rooms, ample closet space, daily free room cleaning service, pool, jacuzzi. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The laundry is common and they charged an exhorbitant 17 SGD per dry/wash cycle. I think this should be free or at least once per week should be. It'd be an easy win for the hotel.

The hotel's location is excellent, with an MRT station less than a 2-minute walk away. Our spacious and clean 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit was perfect for families. The Bencoolen area is vibrant, offering numerous restaurants, small cafes, and food courts. Fort Canning Park is also within walking distance.
The check in process took a little longer than expected. It was a self check-in system but the front desk had to help us and the group before us.

Staff were polite. Housekeeping was good and room was clean.
The property is old and badly in need of maintenance and upgrades. Not in line with an Ascott property. Management are not paying attention to problems.

Excellent stay with all shops and eateries within walking distances. Great location. And the rooms were great and to our expectations.
The food could have been little more diverse. A multi cuisine could have been great.

Great location! Super close to the MRT and walkable to many sights in Singapore. Numerous food options are within a few minutes walk as well. The 2-bedroom apartment was perfect for my family. Staying here definitely made our trip to Singapore more enjoyable!

The staff was exceptionally accommodating and pleasant to interact with. I’d return in a second given the chance and also I should mention the rooms are more than twice the size of standard Singapore hotels.

Rooms were fairly spacious. Having a living room and kitchen was very convenient when staying there as a family. Additionally, the staff was very kind and helpful. Finally, location was convenient with a lot of stores, restaurants, and an MRT (public transportation) station nearby.
Low quality and maintenance standards - rooms were outdated with damaged, or poorly repaired, walls and furniture, cleaning was sub-par (dusty surfaces), the bathrooms had poorly functioning shower heads which resulted in low water pressure while showering, the jacuzzi was not being heated during our stay, and laundry facility was expensive and challenging to use.

The location is really strategic, across the street is the MRT station exit A and on the hotel street itself is the bus station and the MRT station exit B. The hotel also provided free flow refill water for the guests and an empty jug to fill your water.
the hotel also has a laundrette though I didn’t use it during my stay and a designated small playground for kids.
It was miniscule but our extra bed came in a day late due to shortage, and we needed to remind them again to bring it to our room, but it got settled quickly
