There are no longer any complimentary drinks in the minibar. Breakfast is still quite extensive, their thosai though is a bit overcooked. Too thick to be soft, too fried to be crispy. If they served chutney with the thosai, that would be great.

My overall experience was seriously affected by prolonged poor communication and a complete lack of goodwill from the management team. An honest booking mistake was made with the dates, which I immediately corrected by rebooking the correct stay at the same hotel. I fully acknowledged my error and never expected a full refund. Throughout nearly four weeks of communication with both the hotel and Booking.com, I repeatedly expressed that I would genuinely appreciate any form of goodwill — a partial refund, credit, voucher, upgrade, or even something as simple as breakfast. Despite numerous emails and multiple international phone calls, the hotel remained largely unresponsive. It was only after I had already checked in and personally approached the front desk that the hotel finally responded to Booking.com, yet ultimately rejected all goodwill requests by strictly citing policy. The fact that this definitive outcome required weeks of waiting and repeated follow-ups caused unnecessary stress and negatively impacted my experience, both before and during my stay. While I respect hotel policies, the lack of responsiveness and customer-oriented problem solving from the management was deeply disappointing for a hotel of this category.
