Great, central location.
Whole hotel smells very nice, beautiful decorated lobby.
Well equipped, comfortable rooms.

Design, lots of plants, herbs and gardens. Staff is super helpful. They offered us a welcome meal before check-in, while we were waiting for our rooms. Kids looooooved robot which was preparing soup for breakfast:)
The pool is not so big, but the view is magnificent so it's not a big deal afterall

The location was awesome. Close to Chinatown and close to multiple train stops. There is a hawker center right behind the building on the second floor. Great options for cheap eats. The bed was great. Service top notch. It was awesome to see how a hotel incorporate nature into the city. Will love to stay again!

Unique architecture. Tastefully decorated. Very clean. Hotel staff courteous.
They don't honor your reservation per the agreed-upon terms and was quite sneaky. I booked a six-night stay. Two days before checking in, I need to shorten it to four nights. Initially they said I will have to pay a one-night penalty because it was within three days before checking in. Then I checked the policies. The penalty is for CANCELLATIONS, not modifications. I understand cancellation may deprive them from selling a room within three days, but my modification still gave them 5 days to sell the room. Only when I pointed out the penalty would constitute an unauthorized charge and I will inform my credit card company to deny payment and escalate to booking.com, did they say OK we would make the modification without penalty.
Yet at checkout I found the total of my four-night stay was not that much lower than my original booking of six-night stay, because they jacked up the price per night for me without me agreeing to that rate. Since then I contacted them via booking.com and PARKROYAL Pickering just ignored this paying customer. What a sneaky practice! Unbecoming of what they billed themselves as a "five star" hotel.
Don't stay here because you have other more worry-free choices. Most other "five stars" or "four stars" hotel in Singapore allow free cancellation one day before checking in. No need to deal with this kind of sneaky practice and leave with a very bad taste in your mouth.

Amazing location, great buffet breakfast, kind staff, beautiful hotel.
Extremely confusing lights in the room - rather than use switches, they have all kinds of electronic pads - it was really confusing to determine how to turn on the light in the toilet room. Also, the towels were thin and cheap feeling, which was unusual for this high end hotel. The rest of the room was amazing.

Unique property with multi-level “built-in” gardens and interesting interior design. Great location right on the border of Business district and Chinatown!

Exceptional design, mood, atmosphere. Flowing water and greenery everywhere. The pool area was exquisite. Quiet, spacious room. Breakfast was top class. Quick access to Clarke Quaye MRT station. Polite and helpful staff.

Great pool, although the water was pretty cold, surprisingly enough. Lovely greenery everywhere. Gracious and informative staff.
This was our second stay at this facility, and our room this time was a bit subpar. The carpet had some stains, the shower did not drain very well, and so the room felt a bit tired.

Stunning design, amazing "hotel-in-a-garden" concept, spacious rooms with modern amenities and spectacular city views. Located in the heart of Chinatown, it allows easy access to nearby attractions like the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Gardens by the Bay.
The breakfast did not provide enough choices for Muslim visitors.

The curtains in the room. The staff from valet to front desk to in-room, to dining - all were exceptional and friendly. Front desk even informed me of Hawker Center’s when I said I couldn’t swing the breakfast buffet price for work per diem reimbursement.

All staff members here are exceptional from check in to steam room. I particularly appreciated the quality and cleanliness of my room and the facilities, and the delicious food offered via room service after long travels. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and give you a natural feel whilst in the city.

An amazing stay from start to finish. Smells great! They were able to get us 2 rooms across from each other for our family of 4. All the staff was amazing - with a special shout out to Samuel - and so nice and accommodating. Rooms are modern, well designed for the space with a pocket door toilet and sliders to cordon off the bathroom. Views were lush. Great blackout shades. They extended checkout and you can use the pool/shower area after check out - so convenient for our late night flight. Lots of little touches in the room. If you checked in on line they comped you all the initial items in the minibar. Location excellent. For such a swank hotel it’s great value. The greenery and architecture are spectacular
